I got these for a CNC machine I have. I keep wanting to add stuff to it, like optical lasers to locate parts, or cutting lasers to laser engrave, or ink jet nozzles... etc.. so much stuff. Everything that goes on the head needs to be able to be detached to service the machine, so good connectors are necessary! I used some removable terminal blocks before and they work ok, but these are better because they lock together, and they are also more dust resistant. I've used a pair of them for LED lighting so I can see under the dust hood better, and they worked really well! You do need a crimper for the pins, but I had one of those already. I'm going to be replacing the old terminal blocks with these, this is a much better connection!

This connector kit is excellent for making dependable connections. The cylindrical connectors are a standout feature, as they’re easier to crimp and more effective than standard connectors.Building them into a usable unit is straightforward, and they connect and disconnect with ease and reliability. A great choice for professional or DIY applications—I highly recommend them!

These are a bit on the spendy side but it is common for these types of connectors. There are enough pins, sockets and connectors to build 30+ connections so that is good. I work for one of the worlds largest heavy equipment manufacturers and these are the primary type of electrical connectors you will find on our machinery.
