This is a nice, soft felt definitely appropriate for cards or mahjongg usage. The one I got was a bit small, maybe 1/2 a card table size, but I guess it depends on where you're going to be using it.The edges on the entire thing are serged, which makes a decent edging on it though it's really not necessarily needed as the felt won't likely unravel. It's nice that they thought of making it neat, though.I took a deck of cards and threw a few across one at a time, this did GREAT at stopping them. That's what I need in a card mat and it's thin enough to fold and easily store (though it does not come with its own storage). So it works for what you need it for - recommend! :)

This table felt was not really what I anticipated. The fabric is very smooth and slick. The color is much lighter and brighter than typical. It's close to a medium lime shade. There is a slight bit of stretch across the bias. It is not at all like most pool and card table felts I've encountered.That being said, it will work perfectly for our intended use as a removable poker card felt top to place on top of rather attach to a table. The smooth fabric is assured to allow cards to slide without catching on anything rough. It is very luxurious feeling. I tested the water resistance and a drop of water left on the felt for two minutes did not absorb at all and blotted up easily.Overall nice product but rather expensive for the very small size.

I knew the size before I ordered this mat, but I just wanted something to go over the patio table for playing cards. It really is a bit small for most card games, but otherwise it is a good playing surface. However, it is not the same kind of felt people are used to... more of a microfiber... it still works just fine.The price is way too high... 19" x 27" listing for $23... or $58 per square yard! At a local craft and sewing store, I can get felt for less than $8.00 per yard and usually about $4/yard. So this scrap of felt-like cloth gets only three stars.

The mat is a good quality cloth. Smooth surface with nicely stitched edges. Lightweight but heavy enough to lay flat on the table.Seems like it would be a great, but so small that I can't imagine what I would use it for. Had I realized the size I wouldn't have ordered (that is not the sellers fault). I just can't provide a useful review since I have no use for the size of the cloth.As a crafter and woodworker, I'm sure I will use this luxurious feeling cloth for something I make.
