I love these looms for classroom use. My 2-5 graders find these the perfect size. Warp doesn’t slip and yeah, there are no instructions but YouTube, my friends. Don’t knock a seller just because they didn’t include instructions- these are nice beginner looms. If you need looms with instructions, simply look for ones with instructions. Don’t hesitate here - buy many looms and see which sizes you prefer. I love having these in my many-looms collection.

This loom kit is ok to start learning weaving on. I like the use of it, but wish it would have come with instruction. I did find some good videos on line that helped but I do not think I would buy this one again for any one else. To be completely open, I did buy two of these looms at the same time. One for my sister and one for my self so that we could learn together. I will be looking soon for a larger lap loom to step up my game in weaving.

Woot! Dig into the bottom of your stash for the scraps, folks. (However, I just cut apart a large tangle. How do the pixies keep doing that to my innocent yarn??)This is really soothing to play with. My eyes glaze at weaving gibberish and bead weaving falls under My Real Art, so it is really fun to just mess around and sort of pop the hood on this cloth-making thing. (Ohhh…lookit me! I just figured out how to do something weavers learned millennia ago! Lame maybe, but you feel both cool and triumphant.)I carry these around my house so I can do something undemanding with my hyperactive artist’s hands so they have been kicked around a lot and are almost entirely unscathed: the tip of one of the needle things broke off. I wrapped it with some tape and it is still usable.I have seen people make nifty little bags and things, but gosh what a cool toy!!!!!

It would have been nice to have a set of instructions to learn how to use this but none were included. Glad I didn’t get it as a gift for someone.
