This review is in two halves. The average score is 4 stars – probably more like 4.5 stars because these sets are intended for children.The first half is (as an adult artist) what do I think of these pencils. While these will do in a pinch, I personally didn’t love them. The consistency of the pencils felt cheap to hold and was confirmed when using them. I found it difficult to press down on the pencils hard without feeling like they might snap. To get a deeper/richer coloring, I needed to press HARD and go over the section repeatedly. So, that half of the review, I would give it three stars.The second half of the review is what I think it would be like from a child’s point of view. I chose these pencils to use as a part of shoebox packages that children will get for the charity Operation Christmas Child. They will be placed in a special shoebox, shipped internationally and each shoebox given to a child somewhere around the world at Christmas time. Any child that receives a new set of pencils will be very excited. If it doesn’t fit adult standards for artwork, the child will not care. Judging from my own children receiving Christmas gifts, they will love and value them and find a way to make them work for the artwork they want to create. Five stars.

These color pencils are really nice and an incredible deal. The pencils themselves are as nice as the name brand ones, but at a much better price. Highly recommend this set for your artistic kiddos.

I can’t say enough good things about these color pencils. It’s a big box of individual packs. The colors are vibrant, the wood is strong, they are the same quality as name brands, and I like that I can just pull out a box when I need a new one. I’ve also got these boxes as gifts for my kids teachers and they are always a hit! Perfect gift for a teacher you love!

Holiday season approaches and one thing my Mother is very fond of doing is creating gift bags for the kids. I have a LOT of nieces and nephews and, at any given moment, they're sitting somewhere coloring like their lives depend on it, LOL. Since my Mother loves entertaining the kids, I figured this would be awesome, not only as a stocking stuffer, but also just to have on hand to keep the kids occupied (on any given day there's a child running around, LOL).Even though they're great for the holidays, they've already gotten into them, LOL - and they love them! Something about going from crayons to pencils makes them feel so "grown up"! I mean, I've never seen kids take coloring SO seriously, LOL!Excellent for group activities, daycares, or gifts!

These pencils come pre-sharpened and are of decent quality. They sharpen well and do not break as easily as some brands that have the same plastic/wood feel. They are not perfect nor artist quality but they are decent (no worse than most big box brands and better than some) and less than a dollar per box. Given my intended purpose (art supplies for 8 year olds), there are perfect for my needs!

These are a retty good value. The pencil sets come with the standard colors needed for school and enough for just coloring for fun. They color well, and when coloring the tips wore out naturally over time. They didn't snap immediately and were easy to sharpen.The pencils came sharpened. At first, it looked like they didn't but that's because they were loaded upside down and facing the opposite way. Normally, just like in their picture, the sharpened tips are facing the top of the box, where the cut out/window is. But they were loaded the opposite way, which is odd. Of course they can be flipped around once opened but just found it atrange.Nothing particularly special about these pencils. The boxes are a fun design which I like for art supplies. Good value and great for classrooms or donations, etc
