I used this to build some outdoors electronics and it works well. I've had them outside for about 4 months and no issues. The seal is nice and tight, build quality will hold up to bad weather and UV abuse. I like how sturdy the latches are as well they preload against the seal resistance for a safe and secure latch. The plastic itself seems thick and possibly fiber reinforced for strength. All in all it was easy to make it work for my needs.

Most of the negative review is my own fault for not looking closer to what I was buying. I was looking for an interior measurement of 6" and I looked at a lot of other boxes. Saw the 6" measurement on this one and thought YES without really looking at the rest. Got the box and it was just as described, then I noticed it has plastic door fasteners that hold it shut. There was no deception on the sellers part but if you are looking for a more secure box you might want to keep looking. This was going to go in an industrial environment and I don't think it will work.Perfect box though.

I needed a place to hold a battery in a solar panel setup. This worked fine along with some waterproof electrical wiring.

The box is easy to work with and seals well. plus the grate makes attaching thing to it super easy. The abs is easy to drill through for antennas or other things. And paint and silicone sticks to it very well.

It's definitely a sturdy little box, and the pegboard Luke grid on the bottom is added value.Just be sure that the dimensions match your requirement.

Nice box for electrical and electronics projects. Thick sturdy ABS plastic. Nice and deep. Latches are sturdy. Did not come with mounting tabs and screws as pictured. The box was shrink wrap sealed, so either it doesn't come with the tabs or they are missing from the manufacturer.The inside mounting plate is a nice touch. you can zip tie your components to the grid to secure them in place.

It is a large solid box,but it's not worth the money, $50.00 for a plastic box.

Solid. Can be cut to customize. Cuts melt and reseal quickly, which is frustrating, but it definitely rugged.
