For books, It is so much better to use this tape instead of regular tape. This tape is made for books. It is far clearer than regular Scotch Tape: this tape is almost not visible. It holds books together better than regulator tape. Also, the company says it won't yellow with age like normal tape. It really holds the book together and it looks great.

This tape works great! I picked up a set of books at the thrift store for a good price, the only issue was that the pages were no longer connected to the cover. The tape was easy to use and, even a couple months later of kids playing with the books has still held up!

Too light for book tape. Much stronger than regular Scotch tape. Crystal Clear seems to work as well as Scotch book tape. We will see. Demco or Scotch book tape has greater thickness and strength. Crystal Clear is hard to use without a large diameter dispenser. Would order from Demco except for $10.99 shipping charge. Will order a 3-pack of Scotch book tape from Amazon. Works well for book repairs.

Like this tape very much. Used it to label children's hardback and paperback books in a pre-school. A little thicker than regular clear cellophane tape. Excellent transparency and stick-to-itiveness. Definitely worth the money.

I used this to do some minor repairs on a 50-year old KJV bible. There were some small rips, and some wear on the index tabs, as a couple had fallen off, and some others were loose. In fact, I taped over all of the tabs. With cover restoration recently from a bookbinding store, and these other updates, it's a lot nicer to look at.

Got a lot more for the same money but so much thinner than 25 yards I got on my first purchase. A bit harder to use but being thin is actually better for book repair but I would buy again for the value

It’s just less than I was expecting for the price. I repaired four books, and one roll is already Done. Clarity is great, flexibility is not great, stickiness is good.
