After I filled reservoir with oil I had to pump several times before pump mechanism started to work, just like the old one I had used for decades. The pump mechanism even looked like the old one, I hope it lasts as long! After the pump primed itself, everything worked perfectly!

Once you get through the 30 pu.ps to get it going it works great. Also note mine came with a layer of oil inside already. Was it used to prevent rusting? Was is actually used? This was the odd thing that gave it 4 stars.

When using this, oil remains in the nozzle. Then, when the can is sitting there after use with oil in the nozzle, some of the oil is leaking from where the nozzle is attached to the can :-(

Bought this product to oil bearings in a transmission I am rebuilding. Put oil in it and nothing. Would not pump.

Try wearing a glove when in use.Works wonderfully because of angles you can create to reach target.I highly recommend this product.BBSR
