This instrument is high quality makes a good sound that fills a space with sound easily and it’s easy to play- good for relaxing playing tunes, good for children too- if you use it as a thumb piano and do not provide them with the little choking hazards (tools) it came with. Teach toddlers and young kids how to play tunes and how to connect notes. Very portable.

I bought some of these as WOW! items for my Operation Christmas Child Shoeboxes. I usually try to limit my WOW! items to $5-$8 each since we pack quite a few boxes. But I love including musical instruments when I can, and these were on sale when I bought them. They came packed carefully in a sturdy cardboard box (which doesn’t fit in a standard Shoebox) but I was able to include the heavy foam cushion that was included to protect it. There was a bag with a tuning gadget, a little notebook with instructions, and I think they each had a little soft bag to store the kalimba in.The sound quality was great, and they are quite sturdy. I will buy more when I see a good deal on them again.

Purchased for my nephew who is 3 years old and likes "sounds." Thought this would be a great toy to add to his arsenal and he seems to enjoy listening to the various sounds that it makes.

I love this Kalimba! It came perfectly tuned and its so easy to play. Love that it came with the tuning materials as well as thumb covers. The quality is great considering the price, I bought this for my classroom so its perfect for beginners and as a gift. Extremely portable and came in a cute little bag.
