I am delighted with this multi-pack. I have purchased class packs from other brands in the past, so I have some basis for comparison. Although these are less expensive than the traditional school-supply brands, they are actually rated for permanence and are lower-end art pencils. They are soft, blendable, and richly pigmented, and would be suitable for a high-school or adult enrichment art class. They are too soft, and too permanent, for elementary school children. I use them for multimedia "art" that I want to frame or are doing for someone by request, but I am no artist. However, a learning artist, or a very impoverished one who craves art supplies, could do a lot worse than these. Don't be afraid to order them. At this price, you can't go wrong.

I love this pack of color pencils, its a great deal for how many you get. If you're lucky to find it discounted a bit then know that you will get an even better deal. I've used this brand before and I love how it colors, I use color pencils a lot to draw and make art with and so this was perfect for me since I know I will definitely use them and this way I have extras saved for future use. This pack would also be great for teacher since it come with so many that you would be able to make a good amount of sets for their students. I do have to say that I love this brand over crayola, its a better deal and I like these color pencils better.

My husband and I are on our 6th child currently. Our house is basically like running a full time daycare. I am a big fan of arts, I have an entire room filled with craft supplies, and it is my sanctuary. That being said, arts and crafts is one of several ways I bond with our children, and keep their minds active and busy! They have grown to love it, and I am constantly buying new markers, crayons, and colored pencils to refill all the lost, broken, and dried out utensils. This set is a bulky time, money, and energy saver! Needless to say I won’t have to purchase anymore coloring pencils anytime soon, nor will I be shuffling through craft boxes for sharpeners. I also don’t have to hear the kids fight over one color because they no longer have to share. These colors are bold, vibrant, and beautiful. The picture I uploaded of the scribbles on an envelope don’t do them the justice they deserve, but I was in a hurry today. They are pre-sharpened, and come with a handful of extra sharpeners for each set. The box comes well organized! I got that great feeling of opening a fresh box of crayons crayons as a kid. Something about it just makes you feel good inside. If I run low on these in the near future, I will be returning for more!

nice colors and blending but they won't sharpen with either the inclosed sharpeners or an electric one. Sorry to return
