We have 4 dogs, weighing from 50-120 pounds each. We previously purchased the elevated plastic dog baths found here on Amazon. The plastic alternative worked ok, but the dogs did not feel safe because it would wobble as they climbed into the tub or moved around in the tub, and while it had a leash restraint, it didn't prevent them from trying to turn around in the tub. This scared them & caused them to jump out with the leash still attached and the tub dragging behind them as they ran, trying to get away from it. We ended up just not using the leash restraint at all. They slowly got used to it more or less. The last time we used it, the base of the tub broke because while we were bathing one dog, another dog tried to jump into the tub with him. This caused the base to snap open where the leg locks into the tub. I'm sure it was due to the weight of the dogs. However, I didn't want to deal with it again. I appreciated the elevation while bathing the dogs, but it still wasn't a perfect system. I always had to bathe them outside, place my tub close to the hose, yet close enough where the drain hose would run into an acceptable location. Furthermore, medication I take makes me sensitive to the sun, so it was just an unpleasant experience all the way around.While searching for a new tub, I found this Kanis Bathing Station! I thought it was the perfect solution.I discussed it with my husband and we decided to make the investment. We installed in in the garage, conveniently located for both of us to use. The stainless steel material was perfect so we didn't have to worry about it rusting or loses it's durability in the heat (which is important as I live in the Southwest desert climate in the US), or having to go outside to bath the dogs. The ramp (versus the steps on the plastic tubs) is beneficial for my older dogs whose hips are starting to cause some discomfort. It has ample storage for everything I need to bathe my dogs conveniently available in the drawer below the tub. Unlike the plastic tub where I had to hand carry whatever I needed out & make multiple trips doing so. My husband hooked up the water lines to the sink, so they have softened water at a desired temperature to bathe in, again, totally opposite of the hose water they had endured previously, the water temperature depended on the weather - again, not great in the summer months or "winter" months.This is truly a perfect set up! However, the most important tool offered by KANIS was their customer service. Absolutely exceptional! Where my husband and I decided to install the tub happened to be between the water softener and the garage deep freezer. Unfortunately, that is also the spot where my husband put our house water filter. We managed to fit the the back splash of the tub between the water filter housing and the water filter itself, but it hit the rod part of the leash restraint. I contacted them to request additional end pieces for the rod (as we'd have to cut it, place end pieces in the holes closest to the water filter so the rod wouldn't slide out the open end) to allow for the filter to remain in place. (We didn't want to move that, and we had no other place to put the tub.) Over multiple emails exchanges, Alex from Kanis Grooming, contacted the manufacturer and had them send me exactly what I needed within a matter of days! That kind of customer service is so incredibly uncommon these days.I love everything about the company so far. I'm so impressed with the product's quality, design, & the engineering efficiency, and the customer service! Highly recommended!

This bath tub is AMAZING. The quality is top notch and super durable. It’s heavy duty and easy to assemble. I have multiple golden retrievers so taking them to the groomers can get a bit pricey. The Kanis tub has a bit of everything, a storage compartment, faucet, hose and plastic plates for your furry pet to stand on. If you have multiple dogs or are looking to open up your own grooming center this tub is hard to beat. Hands down one of the best products I’ve purchased from Amazon in the past 10 years.

This bathing station is one of the best purchases someone can make specially if you own big dogs. It is quite spacious and I’am truly impressed by the quality and functionality of this product. I love that is big enough, it has plenty of space for storing bath items like shampoos, towels, and grooming tools, keeping everything organized and easy to have in hand. It is also made of a material that it is durable and easy to clean. This bathing makes way easier and confortable the process of bathing my dogs and i 100% recommend this item.I would say it is kind of big and heavy so it does take up quite some space, which could be something to consider but if that’s not a big deal i would say go for it.

Kanis' dog washing stand is amazing. After 30 years of bending over bathtubs or kiddie pools, having this bathing station feels like going to a Hilton. Instead of dreading the effort and mess, I can run the dog downstairs and she's sparkling in a minutes. Clean up is a matter of a quickly spraying down the unit and then emptying the hair and dirt out of the easy-to-remove drain catcher. The whole thing is great quality - both the steel panels, which are just the right thickness to feel solid without being overly heavy, and all the accessories. I've had it over two years now, and it still basically looks like new. It replaced our old utility sink, and that works well too. It is even better for normal household uses than the old sink, and it easily integrated with the rinse hose from our washing machine. Customer support (Alex) has been fantastic when we had any questions. I'd give the KANIS Professional Stainless Steel Dog Bathing Station 10 stars out of 5 if I could.
