Great shorts. Quality seems good, pocket is a nice detail. They both Velcro and tie. Definitely run small though! My daughter is 8, currently wearing an 8 or 10 - for reference she’s about 54†and 78 pounds. I ordered the large without much thought to it not realizing the L is actually a 12-14! But they fit her pretty much perfect. A little room to grow but really not much! This is the right size for her for sure. That said very cute she’s excited to have a little more coverage for playing free on the beach :)

Perfect swim bottoms for a modest, active 11 yo girl. I bought bikini bottoms to go under them. Just a bit of stretch, light weight but reasonably soft & durable fabric, not see-through. Fit as a regular size 12. I bought the matching not-too-cutesie- rash guard too & am SO happy! It’s a great functional girls swimsuit set. Not little girlie, not sexy, no fear of wardrobe malfunctions. We hike in, bike in, swim, kayak, fish, camp, explore, ski/tube, and all around play hard! I need a girls swim suit that will keep up with her! I searched and searched for a girls board shorts swim set that would be comfortable & dependable at all times, protect from sun, dry fast, last 50+ washes, withstand all the summer elements sun/chlorine/salt/sand/dirt/clay. I am pleased w the quality of this set and even bought a 2nd set in a different color! Look out summer, here we come!!

These are nice shorts, they look good and seem fairly well tailored and constructed.RUN A LITTLE LARGE IN THE WAIST: As others have noted, the challenge is the size. If it's helpful, a size 7 has about a 25 inch waistband (though it's meant to ride below the child's actual waist) and about 32 inch hips.NO WAIST ADJUSTMENT: If your child likes their shorts to ride at the waist - you may be out of luck. There is no adjustment at the waist, the velcro attachment (see photo) doesn't have any flexibility and the tie is just a decoration. They'll tend to ride a little lower down. This is fairly typical for board shorts, but FYI.SMALL POCKET: The pocket is small, which may limit its usefulness. Inside, it's about 3 inches wide by 3 inches or so high.NO LINING: There is no lining, so these probably won't serve as a bathing suit. They are a nice coverup for a bathing suit - whether for modesty or to reduce sunburn.

These shorts are a great color and the fabric is nice, but they run too small. Plan to order up 2 sizes.

Bought these for my daughter for a cruise. She loved that they were great looking shorts both in and out of the water. In one port we did a dolphin swim and spent time visiting some shops, and she appreciated not having to carry multiple outfits when we left the ship.

The shorts, in size 16 ( I guess stands for 16 yrs old girls), fits small petite ladies too, so this is great. It feels like a XXS or XS, so its perfect. But because I plan to use it not just in the water, but out of the water, where one carries a phone in pockets - while getting from A-to B, I was hoping the pocket is big enough to hold the phone when out of the water. But guess what - its to little, to hold the full phone. Otherwise, shorts seem fine. so go ahead and order and enjoy.

HabÃa pedido talla 6 para mi hija de 6. Le quedó ENORME! Otro modelo de esta marca en talla 4 también le quedó enorme, pero el traje de baño en 7 le quedó bien. Solo conserve el traje. La tela equis. El estampado bonito. No me gustó el terminado de las costuras interiores. Yo esperaba que fuera tipo traje de baño y tuviera forro interior pero no lo tiene. Es solo para usarlo como short con ropa interior.
