Built with 420 stainless-steel these pliers are not only corrosion resistant, but they are also very durable. For extra protection we have also coated these pliers with a tough coating which creates a hard outer armor to protect against damage and corrosion.
Tungsten carbide side cutters can easily cut mono, fluorocarbon, and braided lines. These anvil style cutter blades resist rust, and the side cutters allow you to cut close to knots.
Designers have also incorporated a raised surface behind the blade to eliminate the problem of your line dropping below the cutting zone.
Fine serrated jaws allow you to find the ideal grip for multiple wire diameters. Grooved slots near the back of the jaws are ideal for crimping sleeves for a leader or attaching split shot weights to fishing line. Available in both a straight nose and a split ring nose design.

My unbias and honest review of the KastKing Cutthroat 7" Split Ring Nose Fishing Pliers with actual weeks of abuse in fresh and salt water.Short story: Great pliers at an amazing price! Highly recommended for any fishermen or fisherwoman! Makes split rings quick and simple. Cut, crimp, and basically all you need to deal with any fishing accessory! 5 STARS!Long Story:As a beginner fisherman, I quickly found the need for quality pliers to remove hooks and to cut line. As I looked for the cheapest functional fishing pliers, I stumble upon the KastKing Cutthroat 7" Split Ring Nose Fishing Pliers. After reading all of the raving reviews, I knew I had to try these out.When the package arrived, I had acciddentally ordered two which was quickly and easily fixed with a fast refund. Before returning the extra plier, I was able to compare product quality and found both builds to be very consistent and solid. My only remark would be the quality of the box. It was crumpled in all corners, but the plastic frame was functional and held the plier securely. A nice little case would have been nice, but it is understandable for this amazing price.on the first day of use, I caught my personal best bass and under all of the excitement, I quickly remove the hook and try to put away the pliers with the bass flopping around still. I grip the pliers and snip a sliver of my fingerpad... ouch! Hey, now I know it definitely can snip! These pliers do not have an guard for your finger, so do be careful!Ever since then, I have never had any issues after weeks of fishing fresh and salt water. I love the bright orange to quickly spot the pliers when they are not on me.Note: I tried to work split rings without the pliers and it was obvious that these pliers are extremely useful especially if you use a lot of hard lures.Over the weeks, I have made only two adjustment. While mounted on the hip, the pliers tend to flip upsidedown and fall out. So, I forced an indent between the grips on the holster for a stronger resistance of plier removal. Secondly, I have replaced the carabiner with a hair tie since the carabiner is of the lowest quality and poor design. Areas for improvement would be the plastic swivel on the holster since it flips to easy, add a physical feature to prevent the pliers from accidentally falling out, and to get a better quality carbiner.Of all these minor comments, these pliers still stand out as one of the most effective pliers at one of the most affordable prices! I highly recommend KastKing's Cutthroat 7" Split Ring Nose Fishing Pliers at 5 out of 5 stars!P.S. For those that may not know, KastKing is a quality brand that I trust, and specializes in fishing and fishing accessories.

Love the little cutting blades on it. Cuts braid and mono very easily. Seems very durable. Love how it hooks to my belt and belt loop so I won’t loose them

I haven't used them yetWith that being said I got them for my 1 to 3 trips to the ocean . Next trip is going to be 2 weeks and I will update after the trip is over .They seem sturdy and for the price point they seem worth it just for the fact that they aren't flexible and don't have any play when moving the jaws side to side .The packaging is greatThey come with a holster for your belt loop and a carabiner with a bungee on itCarabiner is very cheaply made but these aren't bought for the carabiner . If you want a better one just change it out. I'm sure the one provided will get you by for a good whileUpdate : they never touched saltwaterOnly used periodically to unhook fish and they are covered in rust ... would not recommend for saltwater use .

I'd bought these once before and didn't care for the rotating belt hook. The previous one I owned it would occasionally rotate and fall out of the sheath. It must've been defect with that specific product because the one I received this time did not have that issue. I bought again, knowing this one might have that issue, because the pliers are high quality and not bulky and the sheath is solid material. Suprisingly difficult to find something comparable, but I'm glad it worked out better this time around.

These pliers are superb. They are precise feeling and have ZERO Play, while offering completely free movement. The line cutter cuts right through every kind of line, including braid easily which is fantastic. They are comfortable and compact and the fitted sheath is an added bonus as it clips onto any bag with ease thanks to the clip on the rear. The carabiner clip on the pliers is excellent quality and ensures you wont lose it. I keep mine clipped to one of the eyelets on my strap and the sheath clipped onto the bag.The split-ring tip is precision machined and opens up split rings easly without ruinging them. These pliers are really well thought out and funtionally they are awesome.

I brought the pliers to change out my daiwa sp minow treble hooks and slip rings which are notorious for being weak and breaking or bending when fished. The pliers came with a lanyard and very nice holster to with belt clip by either slipping over or putting your belt thru it very thought out not forcing you to take off your belt. The pliers are very sturdy comfortable to use in the hand I didn't find it hard to hold or having to use excess force to use it has a non slip rubber texture. I found it easy to swap out the treble hooks and slip ring with ease alot of control when turning the slip rings but most important fact it kept my hand far and safe from the the treble hooks. I was kind of reserved about the cutter didn't know if they work well I'm happy to report all good I cut some suffix 40lb mono leader with ease then checked the blade edge to see any wear marks with a magnifier no deformation on the blade. The pliers are definitely worth the price.
