I was looking through the myriad of racks to match one that I had purchased over a decade ago, and saw this rack. I was almost ready to just by two new matching fold-downs, but this looked close enough. Although not stacked with reviews, I ordered it as it was returnable and WOW - almost an exact match, and excellent quality and price. It came with the cam straps that I need and will be a great addition to speed up my loading and unloading my pair of kayaks. Can't miss with these, very happy with quality and simple design.

In this case, it's not much. Some good ideas poorly executed. The worst issue is the adjustment joints. The plastic pieces would only mesh in the completely closed or 180 degree open positions, making the entire unit useless. Proper design and machining of the joints, and less flimsy materiel could have mitigated this flaw. In addition, the locking clamps were so stiff that actuating them in the middle of the roof required extreme hand strength at arms length. Not an option for any but the extremely young and fit persons. Brute force could possibly have made this work, but I'm not willing to apply such a crude solution.

I think the products is a great deal for the money. I can’t seem to tighten the wing nuts enough for perfect stabilization when mounted on a circular bar, but it has not been an issue when driving up to 55mph.

This works alright, but a word of warning that you should tighten all the bolts on this rack, not just the ones for adjusting onto your rooftop. I did not and the other bolts one the rack loosened during a first long drive.Also the bolts began corroding within a month staying installed on my vehicle.

I found not 1 thing I did not like about these, My roof rack bars are spread to far apart and stuck there........ :>{

I just received my kayak holders for the rooftop and one of the wingnuts did not come with a come with a nut in it, please see attached picture. Very disappointing, as I cannot use it without that wing nut attached.

Was easy to install but the sturdiness is somewhat questionable. I would suggest investing in heavy duty ratchets to support the four small nuts holding the rack in place.
