These are equal to the import HipShot tuners, in my opinion. For about 1/4 the cost. An easy swap to replace the low-bidder Chinese pot-metal tuners that come with most import bass guitars.

I got these tuners for one of my Squire guitars so far I'm happy with them makes tuning much easier. I always go with a higher ratio tuners 1st time I've used this brand but so far I like them.
