This pet food mat, was perfect to fit the small space, where my kitten eats, but, is still learning not to spill food. Honestly, I know will never happened! The mat appears, exactly like the photo, is well-made, is water resistant, and the color is consistent throughout, holds her dishes and rack in place. I am very pleased with the purchase.

Still to see is how well these do at containing the food and keeping the bowls from sliding around under normal use.I like that these are only 8†wide so they don’t know extend into the walk space.

Size works. I bought one from Sams Club for the same price, really nice one with edges about 1 inch high. Had to take it back because it was too big to fit the space where I wanted to use it. This one fits fine because it is smaller but the sides are not really raised to catch spills.

Got a new kitten and he likes to eat and drink like a drunkin competitive eater. He is a kitten and is getting better but he still gets too excited and has figured out when not to use his claws yet. This mat is perfect, keeps his area clean and is very simple to pick up dump and rinse off. Bonus that his little claws don't get embedded in it like cloth or foam material.
