Updated after two years of regular use. If you look at the picture, you can see that the silicone wears down and eventually led to them burning while I was holding a pan that had been on the stove top. It shouldn’t have been all that hot since it was on the stove top and not in the oven. And the mitt technically worked, because I didn’t feel any excess heat while holding the pan, but once I set it down, I saw the mitt had burned, the black part crumbled off like ash, and I had to throw them away.These are so much better quality than the ones you get in the store. The silicone material over the fabric makes it easier to grip pans from the oven, but it also makes it slightly harder to maneuver your hands/fingers in them. But they go pretty far up your forearm and offer great heat protection. I also love the color. It’s also great that the set comes with two handmitts instead of one.

My favorite oven mitts!!! Love that it comes with drying mats too! The gray color is so pretty and they get the job done!! But make sure to keep the silicone side of the pads down so it doesn’t stick to a hot pan.

I just wanted the gloves but also love the microfibres and hot plate. All work very well. Gloves fit small and large hands. Gloves get hot relatively quickly but work well overall
