This is a nice quality unit but the bolts that hold the factory heat shield on are shoulder bolts that go through a rubber grommet. The standoff’s that come with the kit are not and are smaller than the grommets so they don’t tighten it down. I had to get stainless washers so the standoffs would secure the factory shield which also pinches the grommet. Not a huge deal but could be better.

The price is a little high for what is actually just a piece of stamped sheet metal, but it is very nicely made, super clean and crisp. And unlike their center rack, it was very well packed and protected. I like it, but it seems more like a 35 or 40 dollar item than one worth $59!Way, way better than the stock shield though, so perhaps the price isn’t too out of line.

Heat shield itself is pretty nice but the screws to mount it were the wrong size and I am trying to contact them to get the right parts . No luck yet , disappointed !

Absolutely one solid piece. Quality, robust, strong. Excellent added protection from from and to the exhaust. Great addition. Looks good. Installation was straightforward. Removal of OEM shield mounting screws on 2023 (Green) Trail were larger than the included tools could remove. Not a big deal, but FYI if you expect everything needed to be included. Kemimoto quality piece. Clean, well made. Excellent. A+
