The pot has proper surface treatment, it is very important for uses. I bought another the same pot but no surface treament before I bought this one. It was terrible. There was a lot of rust after the first time use. The rust cannot be clearly cleaned. This means we have to eat the rust along with our foods. It is terrible for our health. We had to throw it away and buy the one with surface treatment on Amzon.com. The pot with surface treatment is always clean without any rust. We like this one.

I bought this wok a few months ago and finally got around to using it. For the first cook i was frying some onion and garlic before adding more ingredients. I noticed that the black pan coating flaked off. This has never happed to a pan of mine before and I was cooking on Medium/High.

This wok was just what the description says: deep enough for large meals, not too heavy, heats evenly, and cleans up easily too. Use your favorite recipes and follow the instructions for cleaning. You can’t go wrong with this one! I gave it to my daughter and her husband for Christmas and they’ve already used it multiple times. This is a good quality pan that will last you for years.

Defective product, completely fell apart after only 12 uses.Didn't last much over 1 month before coating peeled off rendering useless. Tried to use website for support just got transferred around and left on hold. Given phone number to escalate and got VM saying to email. Then referred to Amazon for support where it states item not eligible for replacement or refund. Total POS used less than a dozen times always with plastic or wood utensils never scratching complete garbage and waste of my money. Can't believe Amazon allows a product so for it they won't even offer replacement or a refund. Completely unusable now unless you want to ingest non-stick coating. Do not purchase under any circumstances!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Worst purchase I've made on Amazon

I got this wok about a year back and loved it's weight, size and the volume. It was perfect for stir fry and other stove top cooking. However, the top coating peeled off after a couple of uses and now gets into food.

I have been wanting a wok for some time now. I bought this one based on the price point and reviews. I am so happy with my purchase. I made a variety of rice Krispie treats - like several batches where I had to wash the pan between each batch (made 6 different flavors) and when I tell you, clean up was a breeze. Every time, the sticky goo did not stick and was easy to clean...allowing me a quick turn around to start a new batch.The pan is made of really great materials. It has a little weight to it. You will not be disappointed. I can't wait to do some fried rice or something!

I purchased the wok 13 months ago and for the first 8 months it performed well. However over the last several months the non stick coating on the flat base began to flake of in small sections. Sometimes the coating flakes peeled off during cooking integrating into the food. The Wok is a base model with good heat distribution on a induction stove, however it has a very thin non stick coating. It is not made for med to high heat cooking, especially on an induction stove. Avoid it if you plan on using it for induction cooking.
