Easy to install, solidly made and works exactly as stated! I recently moved into a new rental home and the shower head in the master bath has been dripping nonstop since day one, because the shower head doesn't have any way to release the air out of the pipes, so the water pressure buildup causes it to drip...It's a single person shower stall, rather small, so I'm not able to replace the shower head...so to keep from losing my mind, I started looking for another solution and this was exactly what I needed. In less than 5 minutes, I installed it between the shower arm and shower head, turned the switch and it immediately stopped the drip. I added some piping tape just to make sure that the seal was good and tight, but I don't think it really needed it. Definite sanity and water saver! Well worth the few dollars I paid for it. FYI...It also stops the regular flow of running water, if you are looking for that feature as well.

So far, a super product. Top quality, heavy weight --- very solid feel with smooth, well polished surfaces and no burrs or sharp edges. The valve action is smooth with just enough resistance that there is no worry about the position changing once it is set. Did not seem to restrict flow in our shower at all. We live in the Southwest and had been using a cheaper shower / valve assembly to conserve water. We were upgrading our entire shower and decided to try this valve. It works very well so far --- when I redo the spare bathroom, I will purchase another.Valve was neatly packaged and shipped promptly.One caveat---- I am using a Moen "Magnetix" shower head. This means that the end of the hand held spray head hangs down in the open space below the magnetic holder. If you have a hand held shower nozzle and it "plugs in" to the holder at the point where the hose attaches to the nozzle, then this valve might get in the way. In that case, I would simply mount the valve up where the hose connects to the source instead of connecting the valve to the end of the handle on the shower head.

We had a leaky shower head. A plumber wanted nearly $200 to replace and fix the handle and shower head. Enter the KES shutoff valve. Easy to put on and now no leak! $12 vs $200, a no brainer to say the least. Highly recommended!

Easy to attach in between existing shower stem and head (provided that your pipe size and threads are typical/standard), and definitely helps save water. More than just an on-off switch, it can be used to proportionately reduce the water flow too, so you can open it up all the way for a water-blasting rinse, or close it down part way for less pressure/flow, or close it all the way to stop water flow altogether. The control knob moves smoothly and reduces the water flow proportionately, but does leak a little (just a drip/trickle), so you won't want to use this as a replacement for your regular on-off valves. However, since it's only intended for use while actually showering, a little dripping isn't a big deal.Some important notes about potential water temperature changes when using this device... The temperature and amount of hot water may be affected when significantly reducing or shutting off water flow for long periods, as less water flow can allow pipes to cool or change the proportion of hot vs. cold water moving through the pipes, thus affecting the output temperature. Users with on-demand (tank-less) water heaters may experience even more variability as the sensors in the heater have to adjust the heat with changes in water flow, and may not even heat the water at all if the flow falls below a certain level, resulting in a slow cool off or even surprise blast of cold water when turning the pressure back up. Best practice for tank-less water heater users - either on or off; part way will probably not work well for you, and you'll probably have to experiment to see what works.

Just installed this today and so far it's great. It fit my current low flow shower head and turns off the water 100%, no drips. I love that I can adjust the slider to reduce the water incrementally ~ on full for rinsing my hair, but at 25% for face & body. The package comes with a washer, a small amount of plumber's tape and a registration card. I used the washer but not the plumber's tape and no leaks.I've seen comments on different threads that say you want a small trickle of water on the "off" position or it can cause damage in the pipes ~ anyone know if this is true? I love that this valve shuts off completely, but just curious if it will cause issues down the line.

Dit werkt perfect om de douche aan- en uit te zetten, zonder de warme en koude kraan te gebruiken. Nu kan ik tijdens het douchen even de waterstraal onderbreken om me in te zepen, en als ik de waterstraal weer aan doe, is hij direct op de juiste temperatuur! Ik ben blij dat ik dit product heb gevonden, want anders hadden we een dure thermostaatkraan moeten kopen. Helemaal top dus!

la unica función que tiene es cerrar el paso del agua, pues no lo hace, el interior de la valvula es una llave de paso de bola que se ve bien por lo menos en aspecto el producto es deficiente en los siguientes puntos:1.- NO CIERRA EL PASO DEL AGUA ( con la lleve cerrada al 95% inclusive es decir sin presion)2.- Es de plastico muy corriente3.- el proveedor envio un producto similar al de la fotografia de catalogo4.- ES UN ENGAÑO QUE TENGA DEVOLUCION, LO COMPRE EN AMAZON MEXICO A PESAR DE QUE VIVO EN FRONTERA PARA QUE ME LO TRAJERAN A MI DOMICILIO (el costo del mismo producto es de $10 dólares en Amazon USA. al querer realizar la devolución simplemente me sale la leyenda EL PRODUCTO NO APLICA PARA DEVOLUCION.5.- Tardo 3 semanas en llegar ( aunque eso es entendible porque viene de USA)6.- Intente hacer la cancelacion y a pesar que te da la opcion simplemente no te deja avanzar con el tramite.
