An essential tool for a physics teacher like myself. When I take the kids outside for a skateboard down a ramp kinematics lab, for example, I can have the kids measure off the distances in meters and centimeters, without ever reinforcing our stupid feet and yards system!

Decent quality, reinforced at the start end. Very nice rapid real speed. Time will tell. I needed the engineers scale( tenths versus inches) and this provided what I needed. The tape is only printed on one side, which is ok if that side is up!

50 ft tape in the 100 ft frame, was hoping for the small frame but tape works well and is very durable.

Paid more to get what was the only tape I could find with metric on both sides. Worth the cost - well designed and well made.

Granted, we abuse these pretty heavily in the high desert environment of New Mexico. Acacia thorns aren't pleasant for any equipment, but having a reliable tape is key to our business and when they break, it makes for a much harder day. I've had to buy three replacements for my original purchase in the past six months since the tape keeps breaking. I think it's time to try another brand.

De bonne qualité mais est fait en fibre de verre donc elle s’étire quand on met trop de pression dessus donc elle donne une mesure qui peut varier jusqu’à 20 millimètres et même plus selon la température

A very good piece of equipment, but has same weakness as most tapes; the end snaps off after a while. This is a common problem so not sure why there isn't a repair option.

I've looked absolutely everywhere for a metric on both sides 100m tape and this is the only one I have found. So far it's holding up well in the snow and mud. Reeled up through bush often and the end hasn't broken off yet. I would say it's one of the better made 100m tapes I've used and expect it to last a while. We use them for geophysical surveys and if this one breaks or gets lost I would replace it with the same one without hesitation
