I use KEZE food grade Silicone Grease for lubrication of the large, in-line O-Ring on my (main, well water) home water filtration system. First off, this KEZE Grease is food grade. That is VERY important for this home water filtration system (which also supplies the water softener). To my knowledge, this is an ambient ("room") temperature lubricant. It is also chemically compliant with conventional rubber O-Rings. Lastly, this lubricant provides for a GOOD, reliable, effective seal so that any residual water leakage is quickly minimized and then removed. Furthermore, this lubricant promotes a good, reliable means for routine maintenance, including preserving the O-Ring, particularly when it is being serviced and/or replaced. This product allows for the O-Ring to be properly and effectively compressed when sealed, as well as for suitable disassembly afterwards when later maintenance is required. The included brush is perfect for even distribution of the lubricant on the O-Ring cavity and the O-Ring itself. For home (or industrial) drinking water filtration systems, this product is ideal...make that a requirement for O-Ring seal maintenance. It is also a good value!

I use this grease to seal my home's water sediment filter, and it works just fine. The bottle are a little small, and I wish it had a more tapered or pointy tip for applying it, but it does the trick and seals well.

I used this to get my pulsing sprinklers working for the lawn. I purchased 4 new pulsating sprinklers for my lawn, and they wouldn't pulsate, at first I thought it was low water pressure that was causing them not to work, then I decided to disassemble them and discocered all of the O-rings were dry, as well as the seals, I applied some of this plumbers grease to the seals and O-rings, and now they work like a charm, there are many applications that this grease could be used for, and it will save you a lot of money to maintain your faucets, as opposed to buying new ones, yes, I believe that every household should have this on hand.

I bought this for my RainFresh water filtration system I recently purchased. They didn't include a tiny package of silicone grease, and the stumps on these products are a little tricky to seal sometimes. So I ordered these and I think the gel properties are a little softer than other silicone lube I've used, but this was still absolutely fine. I have no leaks and that's the important thing. The goo also helps the sump slide past the O-ring which makes it easier to get them on right. The tubes are a little smaller than I was expecting but as far as that goes this should last me many many years. Good product. Very happy.
