Circular Cross-Section
- They are circular, round in cross-section.
- Designed for use in a wide variety of sealing applications.
- Commonly provide a pressure and fluid seal between cylindrically shaped, overlapping mating surfaces and are commonly seen in engines, faucets, flanges, valves, and various cylinders.
Nitrile Butadiene Rubber O-rings
- Good mechanical properties and high wear resistance NBR. Good resistance to many petroleum oils, greases, hydraulic fluids, alcohol, mineral oil, and grease.
- Buna-nitrile is vulnerable to acetone, ethers, esters, ozone, sunlight, and weathering and should therefore not be used in ozone-generating electric motors, welding equipment, or in applications with exposure to UV light.

Perfectly suited to my intended use. We have a coat rack which uses these to lock all the coat hook tiers into place on the upright metal tube. Measured my old O-rings with calipers and ordered these up for a great fit!

If you have leaking charge pipe oring's use these instead of the BMW one's. Why because they are slightly larger and seal better for longer period of time. Don't believe me, join the N54 tech facebook page.

Purchased this item following an online video tutorial. This is a terrific upgrade to the BMW OEM diverter valve/tube O-Ring to prevent the potential oil leak. Though it has slightly thicker sectional diameter, there's no sensible difficulty during the installation. Recommend for those who want to keep using the OEM setup but have to deal with this one out of myriad BMW oil leak issues.Update: accidentally found this product also works perfect for 2010-2012 Ford Fusion Sport model (3.5V6 w/ hydraulic power steering system) power steering reservoir cap O-Ring seal as a replacement.

rings were new and delivered in good condition. The ID was fractionally larger than expected but they did provide a seal.
