While variable ND filters are all the rage for filmmakers these days they come with some serious faults - especially true for low cost VNDs. That’s why I choose fixed NDs. This six stop ND filter works well for keeping shutter speeds at or near the 180 degree rule in full and partial sun. It is color accurate, and the cost is reasonable for a quality filter. I consider it to be an important part of my travel kit.

As it turns out there are several types of ND filters and innumerable companies who make them, but this is the type I’ve chosen, three of them in three different densities. Many competitors’ filters are more expensive, and I suspect a very experienced shooter might see a difference, but so far these are doing a fine job for me!

I have transitioned to all K&F filters from lifelong B&W user, . . the NDs have less color cast and the simple "rough edge" ring design makes getting on and off a breeze that I don't even need to carry a filter wrench(s) in my kit.

The cases are round plastic and are a generic size to fit up to about a 100 filter. I have a 67mm filter in a case that can hold a 105mm filter...dumb! takes up WAAAYYY too much room. Additionally, the cases are smoke colored ROUND, drop it and it will roll down a hill. Cannot write the filter size on the side because the case is smoke colored. The filters are very good, so please K&F do us a favor and start making case that are really what we need and want. Will toss the case...keep the filter. Maybe will just switch to a Gobe filter..

Works fine, wish the case was closer to the filter size and locked easier. I us it to get slower exposures, like to blur moving water.

This filter works well. I've had an opportunity to use this. There were no discoloration or this proportional edges. I'm happy with the filter.

Nachdem ich etliche Tests in Foren gelesen und geschaut habe, in denen der Filter meist besser als ursprünglich angenommen abschnitt, habe ich ihn mir gekauft.Der Filter erfüllt mindestens zu 99% seinen Zweck und liefert ein top Ergebnisan meiner Canon EOS 5D MarkIII.Arbeite auch noch mit K&F Concept Nano-X Variable ND Filter 77mm Slim ND8-128 und demK&F Concept Nano-X Serie ND64 Filter 82MM Slim Fester Graufilter und bin zufrieden.

You can tell the cheap quality by just screwing it on to your lens. I guess you get what you pay for. I returned it and got a Hoya filter.

The filter itself is great. Proper density, neutral, sharp, very high quality.Unfortunately the liner in the case seems to have been folded and creased during packing at the factory, so risks touching the glass. This case is disappointing compared to the case that came with their variable ND32-ND512 filter. This case leaves the filter loose and rattling unless the foam sheet is present, but the filter sits on rubbers that mean it can't sit concentric and it will gradually degrade the foam sheet, even if it hadn't been messed up at the manufacturer. It shouldn't be so hard to make a case that just works... This filter will be stored in a Hoya tub
