Because of a neurological issue, I use a bridge camera - a Sony RX10 IV. I love it, but was looking for a solution to blown-out areas and read that a neutral density, graduated filter would help. I was offered the "K&F Concept 72mm HD Soft GND8 Lens Filter, 3 Stop (0.9) Soft Graduated Neutral Density Filter" and selected it as a trial. The lens seems to be a good quality, especially for the price. It did not distort images and final photos were sharp; it screwed onto my camera easily.Imagine when I processed my photos and discovered every picture, taken when the lens was in the wide angle position, had dark areas in each corner. Only when the camera lens was zoomed did those dark areas not appear in the corners. While I could process them out, it was a real chore, particularly with more detailed photos. Further, if I changed my camera's orientation to vertical, I saw two distinct sides of the picture, one almost blown-out and one very dark. Because I am relatively new to anything but point-and-shoot, I did not fully understand the use of this filter was better for sunrise, sunset, and landscapes with a fairly level horizon.I did like the case this came in, as well; it fit easily into my camera bag without taking up too much space. Initially, I was going to return this but after playing around with it and reading more about how to use a filter decided to keep it. Now if I can find a soft edge, round graduated filter I'll be really happy.

So if you have been purchasing K&F Concepts in 2021 you should be seeing a big difference in the quality of their products. I mean K&F has always been known for making budget gear that was "good enough". But in my onion now, they are actually pumping out high quality gear. This graduated ND is just another example of that.I saw very little color cast. Yes, there was a bit there as you will get with just about any ND under $300 but it isn't strong and easily fixed. The glass is a nice quality and isn't a super dust magnet. The coating seems to provide a lot of resistance to glare. The coating also seems to make water bead up and quickly get out of the way which I wasn't expecting for a filter at this price point. Build quality is great and the threads are smooth and without any burrs which is something you will see often in super budget filters.I can't wait to see more future products from K&F. I'm excited they are putting out quality products like this that don't cost an arm and a leg.

Bought many filters. Some I just throw in the back of my camera bag. This one is Quality made. Came clean and clear, which is a rarity. People that say it is to small and can't get it off easy. Well that's just lake of experience with filters. It is stiff at spinning but to me, that is of quality. Most spin to easy and turn of your settings to easily. Worth the buy.

The threads on this filter seem very high precision, so the fit is very snug to my UV filter. The rotation mechanism is also snug, ensuring that it won't slip during use. But it's a little too tight-I can only turn it clockwise, the other way would remove both filters. Since I'm kind of new to using filters (other than UV) I don't know if that's normal or not.I've spent weeks photographing in places like the UK where the skies can be perpetually hazy. I hate having to do a lot of post-processing to get the sky right, while my landscapes or architecture are properly exposed. I'm hoping this filter will help remedy that situation.

Si has de poner un filtro tipo ND variable, no lo aconsejo, ya que son gruesos y quedas muy justos dificultando el cierre del estuche, si utilizas filtros normales, estupendo

Habe diesen Filter für meinen letzten Urlaub am Meer gekauft und damit wunderschöne Fotos gemacht. Gerade bei Aufnahmen mit weitem Horizont lässt sich der Himmel optimal abdunkeln. Der Filter lässt sich gut auf und abschrauben und in die gewünschte Neigung drehen. Eine evtl.. Verschlechterung der Bildqualität durch Aufsetzen des Filters konnte ich nicht feststellen. Ich bin mit dem Filter sehr zufrieden und kann Ihn gerne weiter empfehlen. Preis/Leistung ist top.
