I needed several pencil sharpeners for use in my classroom. These have been excellent. The blades are sharp, and sharpen the pencils smoothly and easily. Capturing the filings is essential when kids are doing the sharpening. The bright colors make them easy to spot in the middle of the craft materials chaos of kids projects in process on the table.

Bought these for my daughter's 3rd grade class since they weren't allowed to use the classroom sharpener. They worked as excepted and a good little sharpener for the cost. According to my daughter, some of her classmate's sharpener broke. And they breake apart or would crack when they fall off their desk.

I wanted these sharpeners since I am over my students using the noisy electric sharpener. I tried one and I was impressed by how good they sharpen pencils but when I was checking the others ones I noticed one was broken. This makes me wonder how much they will hold before they break apart.

I love these sharpeners. I tested one, and it worked perfectly. I am unsure how long they will last because I have just started using them, and I will be giving the rest to friends for their young kids at school. So, until then, I cannot comment on their durability.
