I was really surprised how well this works, especially for the price. We got it mainly so our son could have a little music player, especially for long car rides, and it works alright for that. The music player is very basic, has no playlist support, but it works well enough. You can also use the file browser app to pick songs, so if you have them organized into folders that might be a better way to pick music. Also, it seems that it doesn't work with WEBP album art, so if you have music files with that you'll likely need to convert them to JPEG or another format. When it encounters WEBP it seems to still display it, but the music won't actually play, and it locks up the device for 30-60 seconds until it resets itself. With JPEG it worked just fine. Both images were 1000x1000, so I don't think it was a size thing. As for the other features, it comes with several useful apps such as a calculator, a flashlight, and similar tools like that. The camera works surprisingly well, and he likes using that to take pictures and show them off too. It has enough room for taking tons of pictures and videos, and for putting music on too. The battery life on it is alright, but it does seem like while it is sleeping it drains a bit more than you'd expect. We are using this as a learning tool and remind him to charge it at night in our kitchen to keep him from being distracted with it while he should be sleeping. He was able to use it to play music for a 4 hour car ride on a single charge and still had more to spare (wired headphones). Overall we are really happy with this, and feel like its helping him to be more responsible and feel included.

Well, after reading the other reviews that have already been posted, I feel a little dumb. Apparently this little toy does way more than I knew about. I was giving it 4 stars before I learned about the stuff I didn't know about. I'll explain why.So, the good: My toddler is 2 (27 months - so still on the kinda younger side of 2) and she loves that she can navigate to the camera and take pics on her own phone. She wants to watch baby shark on her phone, but I told her we weren't doing that - mainly because I don't think this phone even has the capability of accessing a browser. It does have a few fun apps, games, etc that I think she will enjoy more as she grows. The main perk about this little toddler sized phone is the "real" look and feel of it. It's a touch screen and really feels like a mini iphone so it helps the toddler feel like she has her own phone and isn't being left out.It does come with a case, but I don't think the case is all that great. It's a flimsy silicone, and even though it's better than nothing, it still slides off pretty easily - and no, she's not rough with it. The lanyard is included and we are appreciative for it. We told her she has to keep the lanyard on when she's using her phone so it won't break if she drops it. And she listens... she even told her grandparents that she has to wear the lanyard and acted out how it could hit the floor and crack/break if she doesn't. LOLShe does get bored with it after a little bit of time - which I think is developmentally appropriate for her age. And I personally like that she isn't just glued to one thing for entertainment.

I got this Shark-themed kids phone for my nephew’s birthday, and it turned out to be an absolute winner! It’s packed with fun features and has been keeping him entertained and engaged in the best way possible. What I Loved: Educational Fun: The phone comes loaded with 13 puzzle games, 10 fable stories, and ABC learning activities. It’s not just fun—it’s teaching him logical thinking, reaction skills, and even hand-eye coordination while he plays! Durable and Safe: The shockproof design is perfect for little ones. My nephew has already dropped it a few times, and it’s held up without a scratch. The adjustable screen brightness is a thoughtful touch to protect his eyes during longer playtimes. All-in-One Features: This isn’t just a pretend phone—it’s a mini gadget! It has a flashlight, timer, calculator, and even a habits recorder to encourage time management. Such a cool way to introduce responsibility while having fun. Interactive Touchscreen: The 2.8†touchscreen is super easy for him to navigate. He loves taking selfies and recording little videos with it, and the MP3 feature is a hit during car rides. Great Gift Package: The shark design is adorable, and the included lanyard, USB Type-C cable, and 32GB SD card make it feel like a complete package.Things to Keep in Mind: Not a Real Phone: While it’s a pretend phone, it does have some interactive features. Just make sure your child understands it’s for play and not a functioning smartphone. Screen Size: The screen is small (2.8â€), which works great for kids, but older kids (closer to 8) might prefer something larger.Overall, this toy phone has been a fantastic purchase. It’s fun, educational, and durable—perfect for kids aged 3-8. Whether as a birthday or holiday gift, it’s a great way to let kids feel like they have their own phone while learning and playing. Highly recommend for any little tech-lover in your life!

Ordered one of these for the boy (blue) and a similar one on the side for the girl. They were entertained with them for about a good one day but then these things just went to the sad forgotten pile of other toys later. At the current MSRP for just a few more dollar you may as well get them real Androidâ„¢ Tablets with wifi connectivity and unlimited app choices... otherwise these are really good for offline play and the peace of mind of cautious parents who may not want the kids online unattended until they reach middle school or something. Overall good sturdy devices but kids may bore of them quickly if they have other higher end stuff.
