Got this phone a while back but my older son dropped it on the concrete and it shattered. So we got it again for New Years, she loved it. We love the stories, games, the music, taking pictures and looking just like mommy. My child is in love with the phone and I can’t be happier for her as it has only great features. Great product and I recommend it!

I bought this smartphone for my niece for Christmas and she is definitely in love with it. She received another 5 toys and she ignored all of them as soon as she opened her new phone. She loves taking pictures of her parents and selfies of her with the great camera it has. It has many apps for learning, like the ABC’s, music 🎶, games, calendar, calculator and so much more I still need to explore when she lets me borrow it again. I definitely recommend it for any children since it’s very educational, great quality and it has lots of options in apps which makes it seem like a real cellphone but with all safety for kids. I know my sister is happy to not have my niece take her phone away anymore. Best of all it is at a great price for all it has and the quality it is! Also, awesome customer service. I emailed them to ask about the warranty and they replied in minutes. I knew I had to leave a good review. Happy holidays!

Sadly I got this dreaded blue screen. Followed the instructions to fix it multiple times with no luck. Also I had no luck finding contact info for the seller but hoping the issue can be fixed. I’ll update if I hear back.

Pros- Swivel camera is much easier for toddler's to understand than a "switch camera" button- Picture quality is decent for the price- Many included "apps" including audiobook stories- Camera app includes cute static overlays like astronaut helmet and snorkel mask- Easy to add mp3 files but it's hard for kids to pick songs unless they can read (can't add cover art)Cons- Poor UX design decisions in hardware and software- - There is a power button and power switch which makes it confusing to turn on.- - Using the power switch resets the system clock, which breaks photo timestamps and sorting- - It's much too easy for toddlers to accidentally delete photos- - Game volume is not controllable by the volume buttons and some games are either loud or mute- Disappopinting battery life- Audiobook voice is in English but has a noticeable Chinese accentUpdate: Somehow all my kid's photos disappeared. I'm sure she didn't delete it as she now knows not to do that but they're all gone in both the phone UI and when connected via USB to the PC. The other apps, videos, and music are still there, even music I uploaded

I bought 2 of these phones for Christmas gifts. One did not work. I called customer service, the lady I spoke with was very helpful. She said someone would call me back either later that day or Monday since it was a Friday and they were closed on weekends. I received a call with a voicemail and a text as well that I would be having a replacement sent by a certain date. I received the working phone replacement on the day they said I would. They called and sent a text to make sure I received the replacement. I was very satisfied with the customer service, everything was done in a timely manner and just as they had told me. They were super easy to work with and understand. My son also enjoys playing with his new phone.

Ce téléphone jouet pour enfants Shiningstone est beaucoup plus qu'un jouet ! Je l'ai commandé pour moi, une adulte qui n'a pas de cellulaire mais qui a toujours de la musique dans les oreilles. Je ne fondais pas beaucoup d'espoir mais je me disais que si ça pouvait remplacer mon petit lecteur MP3 et m'apporter un petit plus, ça valait peut-être la peine. Et bien ça le valait amplement ! J'ai non seulement un lecteur MP3 avec un écran respectable mais j'ai en prime un petit appareil photo (oui la résolution est médiocre mais ça peut être très pratique pour photographier un truc rapidement quand on ne peut pas prendre de note par exemple), j'ai son pendant vidéo, j'ai aussi un enregistreur de voix, un calendrier, un chronomètre, une calculatrice, une alarme, une flashlight, une minuterie, et quelques jeux ! La mini carte SD est même fournie (faut utiliser celle-là et pas une autre, ça bug) J'ai chargé facilement près de 600 chansons et j'ai encore la moitié de la carte disponible. Le seul hic, les chansons se regroupées par dossier en ordre alphabétique mais on ne voit pas les dossiers. Les chansons sont les unes à la suite de l'autre sans distinction. Par exemple les chansons de l'artiste A sont au début, de A à Z, suivent les chansons de l'artiste B, de A à Z, et ainsi de suite. On peut les lire ainsi ou de façon aléatoire etc. Étonnamment j'ai des écouteurs de très haute qualité... et le son est bon ! Évidemment, comme c'est pour un gamin, y'a d'autres fonctions comme l'alphabet, les monuments du monde, des décomptes d'habitudes quotidiennes, des chansons, des contes, des filtres photos rigolos, etc... mais le tout ressemble en tout point à un petit cellulaire. Bref, je suis en amour avec ce petit bidule, alors je vous dis pas, à quel point un enfant qui reçoit ça doit être fou de joie ! Petit conseil, chargez-le avant de l'offrir avec le fil fourni car ça met un bon 3h la première fois et il est suggéré de ne pas l'utiliser pendant qu'il charge. Donc avant de le mettre dans les mains d'un enfant, assurez-vous qu'il est chargé car il ne sera pas prêt à le lâcher. Vous êtes avertis !

And that's not just limited to children, either! Yes, obviously it's designed primarily for children and give them the so-called "functionality" of a modern smartphone in a way that is safer and easier for children to navigate. There's basically no need to be connected to the internet; all of the necessary apps are already installed, which eliminates the need for a Wifi connection (and prevents children for accessing the internet unsupervised).The games are decently fun (although the touchscreen has limited functionality and is definitely a budget panel because it is SLOW to swipe around and has no multitouch), and everything else works to some degree of good (enough that a child wouldn't really complain unless they've been using $1000+ iPhones before this).The main theme of this kids phone is that it's definitely a lot more advanced than a typical children's toy (which usually have one function or purpose), but it's performance won't be good enough competing with the global smartphone industry but is enough to keep children occupied and even serve as a "beginner" phone. Given that, I can say that is is a good product and is a pretty decent children's toy that isn't LEGO or an action figure.

Very lightweight and easy to setup. It has some fun simple games for kids. Keeps my kids occupied when we are in the car. They like listening to music, playing the games and even taking pictures of what they see.Much lighter than carrying around a tablet for quick outings.They especially love the camera feature since they feel like they have a smartphone.There is no wifi or Bluetooth so you do need to physically move the photos and music from the SD card to your computer

This is a cute toy phone that would make a great gift for a young child (i.e. young enough to appreciate it without trying to compare to an actual smartphone). The camera is the standout feature and my daughters love snapping pics and adding a bunch of silly stickers to them. The camera quality is definitely not the greatest, but it's perfectly acceptable, especially for the kiddos. Other than the camera there are plenty of other functions on the phone that the kids like to mess around with. With the case on (which they also love), this thing is pretty durable and has stood up to their abuse. Definitely recommended.
