I've had an old pair of shears and thought it was time to upgrade.Being very particular about most things I'm looking to purchase, I thoroughly explored lots of shear options.Anything that's sharp and comes with the Japanese legacy of precision craftsmanship and tradition is top of my list.These did not disappoint and met all my expectations, lightweight with really comfortable wooden handles, not only are they super sharp their slicing action between each blade is very precise, with little gap which adds to the cut effectiveness.I would highly recommend these to anyone who has a serious amount of pruning.

Very well made shears. Worth paying that bit extra for a product this good. Extremely sharp blades that cut cleanly and efficiently. Plus lightweight. A bonus for persons with arthritis etc these are the first shears i have found that are so easy to use. A lifelong guarantee is an added bonus knowing that if there are problems there is recourse available. Item arrived well before the expected date and well packaged. I personally highly recommend these.
