The extra long sides and elastic really allow it to engulf a mattress. I have an adjustable be frame and my old cover would slip off at the top when the head is raised. This stays securely attached. And it's quite comfortable, as there is a small amount of stuffing that gives it a plushness. It's still winter so the jury is out on how cool it will be come summer and I sweat a lot so I'm sure it will at least protect the mattress lol

I was looking for a good quality mattress cover to replace the one I had and this turned out perfect. I was afraid of it being “noisy†but it is not at all. The waterproof liner seems a better quality than the one I’m replacing. The top has a soft feel of cotton and gives a bit of cushion so I was able to remove the foam pad under where my hips lay. Temperature is perfect, not hot yet not cooling, just comfortable. There was a new product smell but as soon as I put it on the mattress that disappeared. The price was great and a real bargain. This is a keeper. I haven’t had a need to wash it but as with most thicker waterproof mattress pads I’m sure the drying time will be long. May even try drying it on a line outside.

This cover is beautiful, soft with a nice color and texture. It fit a little tightly in my new 12†mattress but that worked out well because there no shifting at all. It’s noiseless and you wouldn’t know that it’s waterproof except that it’s really hot. It doesn’t seem to breathe and it makes me sweat. Granted it’s been a hot summer, so my feeling is that it will be really nice this winter helping me stay toasty.

I bought this because I needed a new mattress protector and wanted my bed to be a bit softer. I really like the fact that it has different zones. I'm not sure that there's any difference in comfort but it definitely makes it easier to put it on the bed correctly the first time.This protector is both huge and snug due to the elastic. I have 2 mattress toppers on my bed. On the bottom is a 10" thick memory foam mattress. On top of that, I have a firm 3" memory foam topper. These two have a combined case that I can put them in so they don't move around. Then, I have another softer memory topper (the firm one is too firm) on that, which adds another 3". It doesn't have a cover that it goes in, or even straps to keep it down. I've put this mattress protector around all 16" of my queen size bed. It holds tightly enough to keep that second topper in place.As far as extra cushioning, I'd say it adds the equivalent of 1 or 2 comforters. That's not a ton of extra squish, but it's definitely some and about what I was hoping for.

The cover looks great. It’s fluffy, soft and somewhat thick. It arrived quickly and and was packed well. Then comes the hard part. I’ve never wrestled to put on a mattress cover like I did with this one. It was brutal. I had to it alone and maybe with two very large me it might have been easier but not for me. It took me more than 45 minutes. If it was clothes, I’d say buy a bigger size but it doesn’t work that way with beds. If it’s a queen it’s a queen. I’ll update this again if the function it’s used for fails or if the cover doesn’t stay in the way it should but … wow. I’m exhausted.
