I bought the "extra thick" version of this and if this is what they call extra I would hate to see what the regular cushion is..... Perks is that is has really thorough pockets that are really secure on the mattress. But its just a basic mattress protector not by any means a plush pillow top addition. If that's what you want look elsewhere

I was having so much trouble keeping a sheet on my new mattress because it was so slick , since putting this pad on I have not had it come off one time . I love it
