These are not the first Kingart brushes I have bought. I bought these to use with gouache. I needed some smaller brushes to make small loose flowers. The brushes are also great for detailed work. They are stiffer than the standard watercolor brush which is important when using gouache. Because they are small they don't hold a lot of water either. Also good when painting with gouache. I wish they made a larger filbert brush though. These are great mark making brushes.

Kingart brushes are good quality. #10 is very small, 1cm in width I guess. I wish I bought a larger size. I use it for lifting.

These brushes may be fine for other uses, but definitely are not good for watercolor

This is probably the 4th set of Kingart brushes I've purchased. Can't go wrong with this brand.
