I will keep my original review below, but after one year of this thing, I'm still happy with my purchase and would most definitely buy it again. Everything still works and is intact. Has really helped us in situations when camping in the car to have an awning over the windows to prevent rain from getting in. If you're looking for a budget awning, I think this is definitely a contender.Original review below:In short, I'm happy with my purchase and I would happily buy it again.Used this for the first time after a long trail run to get out of the sun while stretching and recovering. Set up was straightforward, about 4-6 minutes with one person. I like how there is a mesh window and air vents to help with airflow. Despite the other reviews mentioning missing parts/pieces, everything was in there for me, including 4 guy lines to help keep the shade stable, which you definitely need so the tarp doesn't wobble over. The potential weak point for this design is the tarp poles that hold the shade up as they did seem a bit on the flimsy side, but that said, they weren't a problem once everything was in place even after a few mild gusts. I only used two of the four support poles (see pictures) and only two of the four guy lines and it held up just fine. We had a few other hikers come to compliment us on the setup since we were able to relax in the shade and they were stuck out in the sun. With two people in chairs and two people sitting on the tailgate there was plenty space for four people. I like the versatility of being able to not use the support poles attaching the end of the shade directly to the ground if we needed better coverage from rain. I wonder if the the negative reviews are based on an old version of this product? If so, sounds like KingCamp listened to their complaints and fixed the issues. Again, I would definitely buy again and will update this review if for some reason anything changes.

I recently renovated the back of my truck to fit a slide out kitchen and bed for my wife, son and I.In looking at what would work a family camping experience, I realized I didn’t have a folding table, or a tent to go over the kitchen if it decided to rain.This could help me out !

There were **two** defects right out of the box before I even used it (one tear and one broken pole). I returned mine & bought a Lumberjack brand - which I am very happy with.

It is awesome!! I am using it on the back of my hybrid camper and it works perfect. I bought different leg poles that are easier to adjust by myself. Highly recommend!

Happy with the product but it was missing the round plastic factory dowels. No reply from manufacturer for replacement. Had to make my own out of wood dowels rounded on the ends.
