I wanted to wait for a bit to leave a review of these strainers and I am so happy I did. I read a lot of reviews about staining and breakage and I am happy to say that these strainers are wonderful. I have not had any issues with staining as I always rinse my sink out when I empty any type of staining liquid (i.e) grape juice, pasta sauce etc. They will stain if left sitting in a nasty sink. The bottom of the strainer is plastic as you can see by simply looking at it so I just manage to make sure that the strainers are in place inside the drain hole and not floating around the sink where heavy pans or plates/glasses can damage them. Easy. I have had these strainers now for over 6 months and they are in as good of shape as when I got them. They are very nice looking as well.

I really only needed one, but I thought why not get some spares?PROs:- Catches big chunks and little bits like rice.- Can be turned upside down on the disposal side of the sink and rinses out easily.- Looks cute.- The black doesn't show stains. I had a clear one before that looked horrible after awhile.- Fits my standard sized kitchen sink drain.- I have an extra or three! Actually, I gave one to my SIL, because sharing is caring.CONs:- None.

Liked that I bought 2 sets so I could match the same color in each side of my stainless steel sink. ! Love the colors too, great retro look. They do tend to float in the sink when you pour large pots of water down the drain but, stay in place the rest of the time and clean easily. I'm on a septic and don't have a garbage disposal so I really really appreciate having these! Clean out super easy. Mostly I dig the color combos.

These sink strainers protect the drains and they go through my dishwasher beautifully for thorough cleaning and disinfecting. I love this set! The fit perfectly, and the colorful edges make up for different drain sizes. They are easy to remove, with a little piece in the middle to grasp without getting your fingers in the gunk. They are easy to use, and the holes are the perfect size to let the water drain well. I can’t ask for better performance.

They're nice etc. My only two complaints are: they are too shallow and fill up with stuff very quickly. My previous catch was MUCH deeper. Also, the "floral" edges need to be wider, just a little bit, as they easily stop covering the hole and need to be adjusted all the time.
