these lock and unlock really easy, are easy to use, colors are nice and bright, silicone doesn't melt in hot grease (at least not yet) we have had them for a little over a month, ran them through dishwasher several times, used in bacon grease and for fried chicken, no problems and no sign of melting with the silicone. great price too!

Decades of experience in restaurants has shown me that other than a good saute pan and a good French knife, the one in dispensable item that you're always holding on to is a pair of tongs. This set has three different sizes! Excellent quality for the price. They're perfectly good for moving things around in a hot pan, but do not rest them in the pan, they will melt. And don't put your chef's knife in the dishwasher you barbarians

Strong, sturdy design that is lockable when in the closed position. The colors are neutral, which I like. And I love that I can use the silicone tongs at high heat and on nonstick pans without worrying about scratching the surface.The only thing that isn’t my favorite is the thickness of each of the pincer pieces. It is challenging to pick up certain foods because there isn’t a huge amount of space between the two sides.

You know how many products for your kitchen take up space but you never or rarely use them? Well these tongs aren’t like that!They are so useful! I love that they are narrow enough to fit in jars so you can grab something like jalepeno slices from inside a jar. They are also dishwasher safe so they are easy to clean and the piece that you push in to open them or pull out to lock them closed works great!
