I heat my tiny office workspace with an oil lamp during the colder months of the year. It's amazing how much useful heat one of these lamps produces. A combination of a single lamp and my computer is keeping my office comfortably in the 60's when it's 35 outside! I was looking for a cheaper oil than paraffin, which is almost $30 per gallon. Based on other reviews here, I decided to go ahead and purchase a 4-pack of Klean Heat. Am I glad I did! This stuff burns almost as cleanly as the purest paraffin oil. There is a very slight odor of kerosene when first lighting the lamp, but that seems to quickly dissipate. There is no soot residue left on the globe or the ceiling above the lamp. I am not bothered by any fumes or odor in any way. I am going to be switching almost entirely to Klean Heat, and will just keep a couple gallons of the old paraffin oil on hand. Klean Heat is well worth trying in any oil lamp, it's SO much cheaper, and I notice it burns considerably brighter as well, if you are looking for light!

I ended up with a smudge pot at my house and decided to give it a go. Ordered this clean kerosene to test and it didn't disappoint. I get a lot of heat and no smoke. Okay, this old smudge pot had some junk in it but once that burned off there was no smoke. Put off great heat in the backyard for about 90 minutes on the gallon we put in. I have a solo stove, and it isn't as "smokeless" as they would have you believe. So, I'm going to order more, and I think this is a great idea if you like relaxing outside even when the weather cools off.

Burns clean, doesn't make the wick flare up in my kerosene heater.

Kerosene is stinky stuff. This is the lowest oder you can get of the processed kerosenes. Parafin is great-no oder but it clogs the wicks over time and the flame is less bright. Parafin is also more expensive. So this is my go to lamp/lantern fuel. This is also the best price I could find for this product.

Burns clean with less fume than Kerosene in room heaters. Last just as long in the heaters as Kerosene. Cost a few dollars more.

The fuel is great. It doesn't have the smell that regular kerosene has. I purchase this to have around for emergencies. I have never had any problem getting this fuel till now. I open the box and there is only 2 containers. Should have been 4. I will NEVER order from this seller again! Also I found that it's less expensive at Home Depot.
