This has been the best one I have tried yet this thimbal fit securely on my finger. It feels comfortable to me and it stays on. I do like the fact that it comes in different sizes at some point I may offer order another size to use on a different finger because I find myself using more than one finger whenever I’m using a heavy fabric and my fingers get quite sore use these types of things are highly individualized. What might work for me may not be for you. But this was perfect for me. I really like it and right now. It’s my favorite one.

I have small fingers (size 5 ring finger). Most thimbles slide around and come off. This one works well on my middle finger. It stays on firmly, although it does get a bit sweaty underneath. I prefer my leather thimble as it doesn’t slip like the metal tip of this one, but this is pretty good.

OhMy! I have been sewing for many years. Thimbles and finding the “right one†have always been my nemeses…until now. This thimble is perfect. The construction is genius. The silicone top portion helps secure the thimble without slipping like metal thimbles, but it still has the metal end piece for pushing needles.Highly recommend you try this!

I'm not a tailor or trained seamstress, just needed to sew some buttons back on. My middle finger still has a large callous from years of writing with a pen & pencil and this thimble fits comfortably. I use the flat top to push the needle through the fabric....I don't use the side of a thimble to do this task

Working in a LORT costume shop, my needle pushing finger gets a workout, especially with all the hand basting for tailoring. I needed something that could push the needle but not get in the way or fall off. This fit my middle finger perfectly, the metal tip has just the right amount of dimpling to get a good purchase on the needle (even the side dimples help with this, I wish the side of the head had more texture dimpling for this). The silicone cup is what makes this thimble so great. The rounded interior fits so closely to my fingertip it makes the whole thimble feel like an extension of my finger, rather that a covering. It doesn't shift around, no sticky feeling. It is protective and lightweight. You can still feel what you are working on! I bought three more, just in case. I hate to hand sew without it!

I know I will love this. As I got older, I put on some weight and surprising my fingers did too. Some is muscle because of the weights I lifted. I saw someone on youtube using this and realized I could probably use a new thimble. I am so glad I have it.

I absolutely love clover products because they are brilliantly thought out, and they are the best quality product for people who hand sew.I do a lot of hand sewing and at the moment I’m hand quilting and need a thimble to protect my finger. I can’t use normal thimbles but the clover ones I can become they have a soft silicone cover which I hardly notice on my finger. The metal end tip catches the needle in the right place, and with the dimpled base, the needle sits in the right place for how ever you sew.I have tried so many different plastic and metal thimbles, but I can only ever get on with the clover variety.Please note with the clover thimbles that they come in different colours. The colours represent different finger sizes. I have an average size fingers so the pink one does me fine.I do find if I’ve been stitching for hours, the silicon becomes even softer and a bit bigger on my fingers, also the same if I’m stitching outside in hot weather, but I can still use it, it’s not such a snug fit which I like.
