Well made replacement for an aging OEM filter. The only reason I took off one star is because one of the tubes welded to the filter was slightly marred or has over spray on it which prevented the Ford quick connector from seating properly. Five minutes with a ladies' emory board took care of it, but it was a little bit of a pain to install, realize there was a problem, uninstall, sand it down, and reinstall. I'm sure mine was a fluke, as I've never had a problem with this brand in the past. I would buy it again.

This filter replaced the original one on my 2000 Excursion V-10 gasoline. The original had 220k mi and spilled out rusty-looking fluid. So, probably a good idea to change them more frequently - maybe 50k-90k mi.The size and dimensions and connectors match the original one.

DOES NOT FIT 2010 Ford Escape XLS. The filter is located in the fuel tank and is lifetime. NOT USABLE!!!Amazon, Google all say it fits and that the filter is external and replaceable. Which is FALSE!!!

I absolutely love this filter as soon as I installed it on my truck it fixed my sluggish idle and throttle response due to the previously clogged up fuel filter. Highly recommend this product.
