I am a side sleeper with major back pain while sleeping. Some times I sleep on my stomach. I also have issues with my knees touching. Sometimes, I'll fold the edge of the blanket between the knees. I read an article that suggested using a knee pillow can help keep the spine aligned. I saw this knee pillow with a strap and ordered it. I've never used a knee pillow previously. I had never previously seen a knee pillow with a strap and thought that "someone in the know" must have designed this pillow.The pillow is a soft memory foam that appears cool when first using it. Moisture seems to wick away. I run very hot which I hate at night, but the pillow has not gotten too hot to keep using. The pillow has a cover which unzips to allow cleaning the pillow cover. The pillow has a strap to "attach" to your leg. The downside of the strap is that you can't put another pillow case over the pillow and use the strap. I prefer a pillow case to help keep the pillow cleaner. I take 1 star off for not being able to use a pillow case due to the strap nor them providing one. The height and width works for me as 5'11" and 175lbs. Maybe slightly too high.After several weeks of using the pillow, I'm not convinced a knee pillow is for me. Due to the pain in my back, I flip over many times during the night. As a result, the pillow is not between my thighs by morning. I feel like it might be over correcting the bend in my spine, like the upper leg is too high. It does keep my knees apart. I'll keep trying to use the pillow to see if this is just getting adjusted to using a knee pillow. I think my experience is not a negative on the pillow, but my situation and never having used a knee pillow before. So still recommend.

I was skeptical as to whether this would work or not, but I gave ot a try anyway. I was pleasantly surprised. Its comfortable and easy to use.

Just OK...I sent mine back. It was the right shape, but made of a very scratchy material that bothered my skin.Update; The company sent me a newer design pillow that has a much softer fabric, and I'm happy to report that it is working great.

Purchased this for my husband and he said it really helped him sleep better because it eased the back pain he was having when sleeping on his side.

I used this pillow before and after my total knee replacement. Best knee pillow in my opinion!
