Reviewing: KNIPEX - 87 41 250 SBA Tools - Raptor Pliers (8741250SBA) These Raptor pliers are amazing! I wanted to put them to a real test, so when I blew a hydraulic line on an excavator, I used these to replace the line, and they surprised me at just how well they work. They're easy to adjust between sizes, they lock at whatever size you set them to, and they're easy to rotate and regrip with. I have a machine shop full of tools, and these just replaced my adjustable wrenches. I am going to be slowly but surely expanding my collection of Knipex tools. They are expensive, but they're worth every penny. If I could give them more than 5 stars, I would.

This pair of Raptor pliers, like all of the Knipex tools I own, is a quality built item. It is easy to use and adjusts with the push of a button to fit a wide range of bolt sizes so is great to grab when you don't know the exact size combo wrench you are going to need. It has a lot of leverage which enables a very firm grip of the nut or bolt head and the shape is such that slippage is not a problem - yet the plier can be slightly loosened in your grip and is like a ratchet in that it permits it to slip on the nut to the next appropriate flat to continue tightening or loosening which speeds up the process. Would buy again and highly recommend.

I love these pliers, they work great, and are well made. Bought these for work, then bought some for home. All of the Knipex locking/adjustable pliers are awesome.

The products from Knipex are high quality. The various designs/versions for different proposes are well thought out and work very well together. Goal: grab part well! The tools are very adaptable. Also, nice fit in hand.

The Raptor does not disappoint. I have used these for about three weeks now and the grip is immense and I have yet to see them slip on a tubing nut or fastener. I have seen the pliers wrench slip or twist onsome occasions, in my limited experience with the Raptor, they have not. They are not as intuitive as thepliers wrench as far as selecting the correct size and they don't "ratchet" as well as the pliers wrench but will still accomplish the same feature. Another amazing tool by Knipex.

They’re expensive compared to what you get at the local hardware store, but worth every penny. The quality and design is incredible. Replaced my adjustable wrenches and pliers.

Crazy clamping force and grip without damaging the fastener. It's important to adjust the jaw properly and be on the fastener correctly. This is my go-to for tie rods. To convey it's utility, let me say that if accessibility was not a concern I would select this tool over a tubing wrench.

These type of pliers must be adjusted to fit nuts or bolt heads' exactly to work correctly.
