These door handles are a 5++++! They are heavy and high quality and a very nice looking matte black. I am a 73 year old woman and it was a snap to replace my outdated gold handles. Highly recommend!

Replacements for “contractors’ special†cheap doorknobs. These have a wonderful solid feel. They’re well made and handsome. A bit tricky to install - threading a thin strip of metal for the locking mechanism was fussy work. Also encountered difficulties installing the strike plates: the latches didn’t line up with the existing strike plate. In part, this may have been because I also replaced the door hinges and suspect this changed the alignment. I also failed to notice that the strike plate corners are square and the existing hardware had rounded corners. So these were a bit more work than a simple switch but the outcome is well worth the effort.

So far I have only I installed one of the ten door knobs.Looks great and works smoothly.The only trick is that the plates that go on the door and in the door jamb are not the same shape as the standard shape that came on the pre hung doors that I bought, so I will need to chisel some sections out and fill in others.

Price was a bit cheaper than what was in store. Similar quality. Easy to install. So far holding up in kids room with no problems. Functions as it should. Would recommend

Pretty easy to install but I was disappointed with the fixed latch plates with no option to remove them. I ended up recycling the latches already in the doors to avoid having to cut the latch plate areas on the doors. Other than that, I am pleased with the fit and finish of the door handles, they look great and have updated the interior of my house quite nicely.
