I was looking for a replacement for my Caran d'ache grey, which I love, and these pencils are very good, harder than Prismacolor which is good since Prismas are way way too soft. Feel like oil-based which they might be, at any rate, a good selection of greys.

I use alot of grays when I color & needed an assortment of grays. These pencils are very nice & very creamy. Love them.

these grey scale pencils are waaaay better than i expected regarding performance. i was worried that the light greys wouldnt be light enough but they are very light. they lay down smoothly. blend very well. and most are very grey and not toned to either warm brown grey or blue greys. most are just plain grey as we needed. recommended to replace using your pencils n charcoals to create greys.

I color mostly landscapes, and I usually go through greens, browns, and greys pretty quick. So it was good to find a pack that carries the basic shades of grey.

Packaging was damaged and opened along one side. Tin was bent and wouldn't close. Ordered with a mixed-media journal that also looked used, the top and bottom corners of the pages throughout black and the cover scuffed. So disappointed in this order. Expected better quality for the amount of money these items cost.

These are great pencils. I wish it included white, but the light grays are also good blenders. I'll buy more.

Adquirà estos lápices para cambiar un poco del grafito y usar algo de "color". No soy ningún experto con este medio, asà que expongo mi humilde opinión.Vienen en una bonita caja metálica similar a la que nos tiene acostumbrado con otros productos esta marca. Las minas son duras difÃciles de que se te rompan, da la sensación de que estás con minas HB o 2H según el color. Parece ser que es porque usan aceite en vez de cera.Sobre la gama de colores, y ya que el color de la foto adjunta cambiará según el monitor donde lo veas, voy a comentar. Se puede decir que dentro de esta escala de grises, hay 2 escalas, la 40x con un rango de grises, y la 45x con un rango de ligeros marrones sutiles que rozan el gris.Los números 406 y 405 prácticamente iguales. 403 y 452 casi, casi iguales. 401 y 451 lo mismo. He de decir que esto es con un papel blanco de sketching "normal". Seguramente con otro tipo de papel y con papeles de colores negro, etc., se aprecien más sus diferencias.Para lo que yo los voy a usar, técnica mixta grafito/"color", me vienen genial. Es posible que si te gusta difuminar, su dureza haga que no sean lo que buscas.Le doy 5 estrellas. Sin poder compararlos con otras marcas, creo que su presentación, precio, gama y dureza lo merecen.

These are good shades of cold and warm greys. Not comparing the texture with prismacolors, they do the job well. I had bought these to use in combination with graphite pencils artwork and works great for me! But these cannot be used with prismacolors. Otherwise they are great!

Dieses Brauntöne Set finde ich total super. Ich habe auch Stifte der Marke Derwent, hiervon habe ich eine große auswahl, und ich habe Stifte der Marke Faber Castell, auch eine relativ große Auswahl. Deshalb kann ich hier zu den Stiften sagen, dass sie von der Mine her weicher sind als die Faber Castell Stifte, allerdings etwas härter als die von Derwent. Sollte man also mittelweiche farbsatte stifte suchen, ist man hier genau an der richtigen Adresse. Sie sind griffig, allerdings von durchmesser her auch dünner wie Derwent, wer also Probleme mit den Händen hat sollte eher auf derwent zurückgreifen. Für alle anderen sind diese hier nur zu empfehlen! Sie lassen sich auch hervorragend mischen, sind auch für Feinarbeiten geeignet, da sie sich gut anspitzen lassen.
