Simply place a cleaning tablet in the tank compartment, set the desired amount with the adjustment dial, and the system does all the work, evenly mixing fresh water with the cleaning agent and dispensing cleaning solution into each flush via the rim jet. I recently purchased the Kohler two piece skirted toilet and I am extremely happy with my purchase. The toilet is stylish and modern, and the skirted design makes it easy to clean. The flush is powerful and efficient, and the toilet is extremely comfortable to sit on. The installation process was straightforward and the instructions were clear and easy to follow. I was worried with the skirted design that it’d be hard to bolt down but both the instructions and some videos I found on YouTube made it very easy. Overall, I am extremely satisfied with my purchase and would highly recommend it to others. It's a great addition to any bathroom and a definite upgrade to builder grade and many other toilets. My only complaint is that the description clearly showed that it came with a toilet seat and this is NOT the case. I had to go out and spend $50 for a seat. Definitely a mistake with the item description and photos.

The toilet I had was crappy (excuse the pun) and required constant plunging (ok, so maybe my love of cheese is a factor, but still). I bought the Kohler Corbelle and am so glad that I did. I haven't had to plunge once since putting it in! The auto-cleaner-dispense function is awesome - really helps keep it clean. I also like that the shape of the bottom; it is a flat skirt so dust doesn't have crevices to accumulate. I feel like a king on my throne now and highly recommend it.

This is kind of a joke to be a Kohler product. Can’t get paper or pee to go down first pull. So no chance for solids. We are returning as it’s that useless. Have Kohler everywhere else just not this product

The toilet itself is very attractive and good quality. After a year and a half of very little use (there are only 2 of us and we seldom use the hall bath) the bowl became very visibly dirty. Prior to that it was always pristine. What I did was to remove the tank lid, unlatch and pull off the chlorine tablet chamber (flip the latch and pull up on the front of that chamber cover - it will be tight) then remove the plastic cover assembly. You will see a tube running from the left side valve (the k-5709-0 model has the valve on the left) to the cleaning tablet chamber. That tube on mine was broken and crumbly (see photos). That prevents waterfrom entering the tablet chamber and forcing the chlorine-saturated water into the tank during the tank flush/fill operation. So there is no cleaning happening when that tube is gone. I happened to have some gasoline supply line lying about in my basement so I replaced the piece of tubing with that (also in photos), flushed to make sure the chamber was filling with water, and reassembled everything. I have every expectation that this solves the problem and that the toilet will once again remain pristine (after I cleaned it). Good product but use a more chlorine-resistant tubing, Kohler!

We Bought this toilet based on the Kohler name and am very pleased with the product. With the bottom skirt It looks good and it is much easier to clean than our older units. Best yet it flushes everything with one flush. Now that we have tried it out for 6 months we will be replacing two other toilets with the same model.

While flushing, water touches less than half of the lower bowl! I am a retired mechanical engineer and thought this toilet should work fine with a brand like Kohler. This toilet is rated for 1.28 gpf. Simply NOT enough water to flush solids well. Terrible toilet!

I have 3 of these toilets - they all are rusting. From the handle portion that pulls the chain, to the screws and even springs in the handle of the sanitation compartment. These toilets are double the price of many toilets and I am ready to throw them away. By the way, they are less than 3 years old with only two adults in the house, so not a great amount of use on them.
