As the diameter decreases, the resistance increases. 3.0-Inch has 40-Percent more resistance than 4.5-Inch while 2.25-Inch has 90-Percent more resistance than 4.5-Inch.

I bought these to ride in front of the TV for extra training when riding outside isn't possible. I got the 3" because I thought I would be able to get a really good workout on them, but it's pretty much a cruise. My threshold is just under 300 watts, and the 3" drums don't have enough rolling resistance for me to get out of zone 3 on (without additional parts). If you plan to do much more than look cool warming up at races (and you will on these), then plan on getting a couple of sets of drums.Otherwise, these are the best rollers out there...you know that or you wouldn't be looking at them.

Great product, high resistance, I replaced my Lemond Revo trainer with this. It is quiet, easy to store and I can use my track bike on it

Solid set of rollers. Only issue was I only received the rollers, no frame, so I had to call support and wait a week for the other half of my shipment.

I've had these rollers for over a year now and using these during the winter prepared me for summer above and beyond what I expected. For someone looking to continue biking during the winter I highly recommend these rollers.The 2.5 challenger rollers are a good challenge but like I said as soon as I hit the road I was beating my average speed by 5km or more on average.The noise levels of the rollers is not bad I would say I'm using them on a concrete floor. The build quality is fantastic solidly built and being able to fold it up for storage is great.

Already logged 10 or more hours on these. Solid, quiet and everything I expected. Its the next best thing to riding outside, which is preferred if the snow ever stops!
