Update After Six Weeks Of Daily Use January 2021:This has been a great purchase for me. At first it took me about 15 minutes to be able to ride with both hands on the handlebars. Initially I was riding 15 minutes twice a day and now closer to 20 minutes twice a day. I ride with a table to my left and for the first week I would have to reach for the table a couple times each session to maintain my balance. Just place my hand on the table to gently regain balance and directional control. After a couple weeks I could do the whole 15 minutes in 2nd gear (3 speed bike) without loosing balance and reaching for the table. Took about another week to reliably master 1st gear. The lower gears require a greater sense of balance but with time and practice you develop this. Now after six weeks I can reliably stand up and sprint multiple times during each session while shifting through the gears. I'm really surprised how much this has improved my cadence and ability to balance.Initial Review November 2020:I'm 62 years old and purchased a 3 speed Priority Classic bicycle with carbon fiber belt drive and internal rear hub gear set. This bike is not compatible with standard bike trainer stands. Watched numerous YouTube videos on the Tacx Galaxia and was a little concerned about hurting myself.Truth is you really don't fall off the Galaxia unless you go into total panic mode. In the beginning you will unintentionally steer the front wheel off the front roller. If you simply stop peddling everything stops immediately. Since there is no forward motion (the bike remains stationary as you peddle) there is no forward momentum to throw you to the ground.I set the Glaxia up parallel to a work bench in my garage. Very easy to get started by simply placing one hand on the bench and start peddling. As the videos indicate, the initial tendency is to simply over-steer and veer off to one side or the other. Takes some time to develop a more delicate muscle control for steering (only very small steering inputs required). If you give it a few days your Fine Muscle Control, Cadence and Balance will all improve dramatically.I'm a casual bicyclist but with a modest amount of effort and practice I'm really enjoying the Glaxia. In the beginning it requires a lot of mental focus but the longer you ride the more natural it becomes. In the beginning you tend to be tense which wears you out and limits the length of your rides. As you get more relaxed ride times are extended by quite a bit. When you are focused on riding, the time seems to go by quickly. The Glaxia does provide a good workout. I'm in second gear most of the time on my 3 speed. Since there is no coasting, there is no resting. You have to pedal constantly to maintain balance. I have started to ride standing on the pedals in 3rd gear (sprinting). This is after only 4 days. I can go down into 1st for a bit of a rest but a bit more difficult to maintain balance. My balance in 1st gear is improving with practice. The Glaxia sits on Rockers compared to the base unit without Rockers. I was concerned the rockers might make it more difficult but not the case. The rockers seem to smooth out any jerkiness the rider may have during the learning process. The Glaxia came extremely well packaged. The three rollers are identical with quality sealed bearings. The entire unit is well engineered, extremely simple, compact, easy to assemble and manufactured with quality and precision. Should also mention the unit is relatively quiet. I'm very happy with this purchase.

This is my first set of rollers. The product is well made and functions exactly as claimed. I began using them right away and found that the process of learning how to ride on them was not all that difficult. The tapered rollers help keep your bike centered, however, with no bumpers on the sides, it is definitely possible to accidentally ride off the edge when learning. I have seen a very noticeable improvement to my pedaling technique due to using the rollers on a regular basis. They have been more of a help in that way than they have for a means of exercise. With my bike (a professional road bike) on it's highest gear, I am able to get a pretty good workout, but the lack of resistance is very apparent. Rollers will train you to pedal correctly (in a complete circle), as an improper pedal technique (known as "squares") will result in a loss of balance and control on the rollers. The product is easy to assemble, use and store. I am very pleased with the product at this point after using it on a daily basis for a few weeks. It appears that it will hold up and be able to endure years of use.

Arrived as expected and in good condition. I changed the allen head bolts that hold each roller for better quality at the home center. The original allen head bolts supplied kept slipping the alien key under tension. The instructions are terrible, but you only have to attach 6 allen head bolts. Before you insert the front and rear rails together, flip the unit over on the floor and look at the two holes adjacent to the grey levers that you pull out to adjust the length. Those holes have to accept the silver pins that are spring loaded and sticking out of the front rail. You have to adjust the location of the silver pins in the front rail, so they line up with the holes in the rear rails depending on your bikes wheelbase. If you skip this step, the grey levers can't hold the rails and the unit will not lock in place. The result is you falling on the floor, just like I did. You pry out the grey end caps that hold the pins and just move the pins to different holes. Don't lose the springs that are behind the pins. Pretty easy. Make sure the front roller is adjusted under your front axle, I had mine too far forward and the bike was never stable. And you fall on the floor again. Keep the box and put the styrofoam back inside. Flip the box so the solid portion of the styrofoam is on top. I put the box next to the rollers and used it in the beginning as a step to get on the bike. Also handy to touch down with a toe when you want to stop.

A little getting used to, runs great. At about 20 MPH on my hybrid, it generates enough resistance to get a solid workout. On my mountain bike, can't go must faster than 16MPH, and its loud! The special back/forth movement makes the ride a lot more stable, especially when doing quick accelerations. Roller bearings are smooth and silent, frame is rigid. This will keep my bike legs warm during the winter months!

Great product from Tacx/Garmin. Easy to assemble and very stable. The rollers do not have any resistance, which is why I bought. Great for cadence training, technique and quick spins on bad weather days. And I wanted something that does not require removal of the rear wheel. If you want resistance or Ant+ for Zwift you need the Neo2 or Wahoo systems.

Product seems well built, easy to assemble/break down, and looks to last for a while. My problem being my 29” Schwinn Boundary with front suspension is simply to large to fit, the rollers run out of length before I can get the front wheel in the right place. This is more suited to medium sized 27.5 mountain bikes, or maybe up to a large roadbike.I had a roller trainer when I used to ride road bikes and loved it. If you ride a large frame mountain bike, pass this one up.I learned the hard way, one size does not fit all.

Beautifully packed components designed for ready assembly. Works very well on my exceptionally large frame bike even though at full extension its still just a little short according to the assembly guidelines. Its a well made, nicely designed piece of art actually. In use, well there's a bit more to it than hopping on your bike for a summer Saturday morning ride to the deli. However, after focusing clearly on smooth peddling in circles and for more than a couple of sessions, then its suddenly superb good fun. Just think, you get to ride as fast as you want, for as long as you want, honing balance and pedaling skills all the way, visualizing yourself riding the efficient laser straight track as you lead the way, even ride no hands, and despite all the exertion, go absolutely no where! Such a deal. A Seinfeld experience for the bike savvy. I found some of the YouTube roller riding videos helpful in getting started. Its not crash proof, but where's be the fun in that? I look forward to the daily ride.
