Actually, I thought one of the two shock absorbers in the box must have been stolen some time before it was shipped. I asked and got a replacement order, but the replacement also had just one shock in the box. So I complained again and was able to return the replacement order also. It was impossible to convince anyone I talked with at Amazon that that, given the price and the packaging, there should have been two shocks in the box. So I bought them somewhere else.

Installed these on a 96 bmw 318. Loved the idea of being adjustable but come to find out with the size of tires I have full stiffness is all that keeps the rubbing away even with the fenders rolled. Honestly I am happy with that because the thought of taking the shocks off for any adjustments just doesn't appeal to me. You have to fully decompress the shock in order to adjust it. Also only the rebound is adjustable. That takes the rating down to 4 stars and is my only complaint. Feels well built alot stouter than the ones I removed.

Good shocks, thought they would come with the tool to change the dampening but didn't. Other than that, they're great

Disclaimer: I didn't actually purchase this exact model of Koni sport shocks. However, I did purchase Koni rear sport shocks for my Mazda MS3 from Tire Rack and I would like to warn others so they can avoid the expensive and frustrating experience I have had.My Koni shocks were installed by an experienced, reputable mechanic. They worked well for several days and then quit working. My car was banging and jolting with every minor road imperfection. I returned to the service garage where an inspection was done to make sure the shocks were properly installed - they were. The mechanics determined the left rear shock wasn't functioning.Tire Rack's customer service informed me (after over a week of delay tactics) that Koni North America handled waranty issues with their products. So I then contacted Koni's customer service where I was treated with complete apathy. I was told I could ship the shocks back to Koni at my expense and they would inspect them. If they were found to be defective, Koni would repair or replace them.Naturally, I told the rep I couldn't be without the use of my car throughout this process. The alternative I was given was to pay half the cost of a replacement which would be shipped to my mechanic. He could install it and the problem shocks would be shipped to Koni so they could determine whether or not there actually was a problem. If the shocks were found to be defective, my credit card would be refunded the money I paid. If not, I would be charged for the replacements.I thought about it and concluded that I really didn't want to risk giving any more money to Koni for another set of potentially defective shocks. So I purchased Bilstein sport shocks (great product - perform beautifully and cost less) and had them installed, then shipped the Konis back to the company. As you might expect (I wasn't surprised, just disappointed) Koni claimed that the shocks passed their test and met their standards and therefore weren't defective - no refund. I don't really care what sort of test they performed or what standards the shocks met, they absolutely did not function in the real world.I have nothing whatsoever to gain by misrepresenting any part of my experience. I bought Koni shocks with the expectation that they would work fine and I would never think about them again. They did not. I hope others can avoid this unfortunate situation.
