Cheap. Easy to install. Material was tough and the flapper used to make it was durable. Sealed nife. Perfect fit. Didnt waste water so i guess it saved sone that way. Flushed perfect. Material waa better than others.

These might soften up with time, but, on initial installation, they're just too stiff to seal off the downtube: there's a little leak. I'll probably throw some vaseline on the flap to get a perfect seal, but I know that will destroy the plastic sooner or later; at this price, I can just replace them every other year.The engineering choices are obvious: they could thin out the flange a bit (not a cheap thing to do with the mold cavities) or move to a formulation that results in a less stiff (lower durometer) material (very easy to do). Whatever: it's a two-dollar blob of plastic.

I have noticed that our old toilet flapper was not working properly so I have been looking for a replacement. I chose this one because of the unbeatable low price, and did not bother to measure the size of the old one since this one said it's universal. For this price I wasn't expecting a lot except that it worked. It did. I was extremely happy. It was very easy to install and worked right away. Now we no longer had to dig our hands into the tank to gave the flapper an extra push to make sure it closed properly. For this price you can't go wrong.
