This is the first model experience for both of my children. They are 4.5 and 3 yr old. The older was able to build with some guidance and presetting of screws. But he had a great timeThe 3 year old wasn’t able to do it but enjoyed being there and “involvedâ€. They are both painting them and having a good timeThe car was great, easy to build and everything matched perfectly. The airplane was missing a piece and I had to do some whittling to make the pieces fit. We haven’t built the truck yet. Instructions were also missing from the kit.

Grandson builds these with grandpa. He uses all tools himself. He is 7. Very proud of finished product. I wish there were more kits and I wish they were cheaper. Definitely paying for the experience of building

This was such a fun project to do with my little brothers when they came in town. Although with the three of them doing each project, I did need to find two other screwdrivers in my house. So just keep that in mind when purchasing and planning. They did paint these and play with them all week that they were visiting. It was the perfect gift to them. They are ages 5 (twins) and 4! (Each of them did need a little help from us adults to twist the screws into the wood enough to hold)

Good quality wood and screws but the peg that connects the nose of the plane to the body is missing. Really sad.

Nice quality for first time model builders. I liked that it was all put together with screws and not pegs. Took longer to put together and learned to take his time using the screw driver. My grandson likes to play and sometimes can get a little rough. So far these are holding up good .
