KSEIBI Sanding and Grinding Flap Disc
Tough & Sturdy Construction
- Three-dimensional grinding discs with overlapping layers of abrasive-coated, fiber-reinforced flaps that fan out from a central hub. As the overlapping layers of the flaps wear away, they continuously expose fresh abrasive mineral for a fast, consistent cut, while the cushioning of the flaps creates a smooth finish.
- Under normal conditions, flap discs will generate a finish that is one grade finer than the finish of a fiber disc of the same grade. And, because their overlapping construction allows more abrasive material to be loaded onto the cutting surface, they far outlast typical discs.
- By reducing steps and lasting longer, flap discs can greatly improve productivity in grinding operations.

You should know before you buy Sanding Disc
This flap disc are recommended to use for grinding and polishing metal / stainless steel, yet they still can be used on mild steel, wood, and plastic.

Grit Conversion:
Always choose a Flap Disc at least ONE GRADE COARSER than the Fibre Disc being used to obtain a similar finish with the same aggression:

I have sharpened lawnmower blades, sanded wood, and removed rust from tools with these flap-sander discs. They are very versatile. Used on metal, they tend to wear faster, but that is to be expected. These discs last a looking time when used for wood sanding. A word of caution though: these discs will plug up fast when used for paint removal, especially with latex paints.

I used these to sand down a tree slice that I then made into a counter top & I was able to shape/carve the wood quickly. These lasted much longer than another set that I bought. Will buy again.

worse case is you are cutting the deck or leaving burn marks on the wood.Used with a an angle grinder. didn't need to apply force to rip paint off, just smooth and even motions.
