If you have ever tried to grind aluminum, then you know it is not easy. These flap disks grind 6061 & 5032 better than anything I have ever use. If you spray them with PAM you will even have less buildup.

I ordered a 10 Pack of 40 grit Benchmark Abrasives 7" x 7/8" premium high density jumbo Zirconia type 27 flap discs for a project I am working on. The shipping was FAST. I put them to work immediately cleaning up and smoothing out edges of 1/2" & 3/8" A36 and 1045 steel as well as cleaning up welds.These discs are "the good ones", well made with premium abrasives, not the kind that dissolve away.I am very happy with my purchase, plus I saved on the shipping and had the product on hand a week sooner than my normal supplier would have provided.Give them a try!

These are okay for the price. Once you've done a little grinding with them, they seem to not cut near as well. That's comparing them to the Bauer flap discs from HF. Again, these are okay for the price.
