Given how inexpensive that 10 of these cost and comparing them for what Lowes wants $6 a piece for, and me being tired of over inflated products. I gave these a try. I admit, I thought they would burn up fast, maybe fall apart on me, or not work as good…NOPE. Threw this on my 4.5-6†Dewalt and made old wood with weathered lines on my deck look new. Posted a pic when I started, that was only about 15 minutes in. To do this whole deck, would have easily took me 1 week to do with an orbital sander. I did the whole deck in 4 hours. Seriously underestimated these. The pads lasted. I only used 3 out of the 10. I only changed the pad because I assumed it took enough abuse. But I inspected each one after I swapped it out for a new one, and it for sure had way more life, so I saved those for whatever. But yes, they are worth the money 100%. Do not waste your money at Lowes or Depot. T

I sharpened my lawn mower blades with these. It’s the perfect grit for sharpening.

Great flap discs. Excellent quality. I use then to debark walking stiks and create unique patterns in the walking stick shaft. Easy to control. The 40 grit disc removes wood quickly, while higher grit discs help with the finishing touch.

I've been building a welding cart, and since I'm just getting back into TIG welding after 30+ years, I have a lot of welds to grind off. I've used the slop out of the disk and it's still going strong, so I'm pleased with the longevity. After the welding cart I'm going to start welding on a stripper pole I'm making for my rotund great aunt. I need to make it out of super thick steel pipe because she keeps bending the store-bought ones when she does that flying jump mount from across the room. At 315 pounds, that women can tilt the planet when she hits, so I have to lay in a lot of welds. These flap discs will be great for that. Wish me luck, and the poor pole too.
